Christine Louise Sams, 55, of Malvern, passed away, Oct. 28, at a Clarksville hospital. She was born February 14, 1956, to Willis and Thelma Schuler Sams in Malvern. She was a member of the Second Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by four brothers, Willis Sams and wife, Regina of Hot Springs, Dennis Dillavou and wife, Wilma of Locust Grove, OK, Loran Dillavou and wife, Sandra of Little Rock, and Alan Dillavou of Arkadelphia; two sisters, Mary Downs and husband, Arlis of Mabelvale, and Bethel Peters and husband, Bobby of Benton.
Daniel Lee Robinson, 44, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 25, at his home in Alexander. He was born Nov. 15, 1966, in Chester, Pa., to John Howard and Bettie Mae Robinson.
Mr. Robinson is survived by his wife of 21 years, Robin Robinson; three sons,Tye Snyder and wife Kerah of Haskell, Aaron Robinson and CraigÂ Robinson, both of Alexander; and one daughter, Kala Preston of Alexander.Â Also surviving are his parents, John Howard Robinson and Bettie Mae Sanderson; and one brother, Richard Kevin Robinson and wife Rose of Pennsylvania, as well as numerous other family members and friends.
Jack William Hodshire, 86, of Benton passed away on Friday, Oct. 28.Â He was born March 16, 1925, in Granite City, Ill., and grew up in the Missouri Ozarks.
As a teenager he left home to work at Fort Leonard Wood in the CCC Camps building barracks.Â He joined the Navy and served in both World War II and the Korean War.Â After the war, he met and married his wife of 52 years, Doylene.
He also then went to work for Alcoa, where he retired.
