Bro. James R. Walker, 91, of Benton, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 27.Â
He was born on July 12, 1920 in Ouachita, to the late George and Kate (Key) Walker.
Bro. Walker served as pastor at First Assembly of God in Benton for 16 years and later served as pastor at Otter Creek Assembly of God for 30 years. Â He was a WWII Army Veteran and loved to fish and hunt.Â
Eugene Southworth, 87, of Malvern, passed away Dec. 28.
He was born May 30, 1924Â in Paron to the late Dick and Norme Burnett Southworth.Â
Eugene was of the Assembly of God faith.Â
He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Eleanor Southworth.Â
He is survived by his son, Richard Southworth of Malvern; daughters, Diann Galloway of Malvern, Kathy Norwood and Tina Benton both of Benton; step sons, Otis, Howard and Ray Nerghbors; and eleven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.Â
