Clyde O’Neal Brown

Clyde O’Neal Brown, 91, of Benton passed away Wednesday, April 20, 2011, at Saline Memorial Hospital. 
He was born Oct. 14, 1919, in Beedeville to Joe and Hattie Brown.  
He was retired from the Union Pacific Railroad where he was a road master and held the title of supervisor of tracks. He was a member and deacon of Calvary Baptist Church and an avid gardener.
He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Kenneth and Sherman; and one son, Larry.

Donald Burton Timm

Donald Burton Timm, age 95, of Benton, passed away Sunday, April 24, 2011, at his home.  He was born on March 4, 1916, in Highmore, S.D., to the late Henry and Bertha Timm. 
 Mr. Timm worked for Curtis Publishing Co. in Sioux City, Iowa, and was general manager of Brandon Furniture in Hot Springs. He came from a musical family, played the oboe, and loved music.  He played the oboe in the Sioux City Symphony in Iowa and the Hot Springs Community Band for over 20 years. He was also a member of the Hot Springs Sertoma Club.

Joseph Cody Varnadore

Joseph Cody Varnadore, 24, of Bryant went to be with the Lord, Thursday, April 21, 2011.
He was a student at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and the University of Arkansas at Morrilton. He looked forward to a career in the oil and gas industry upon graduation in December. Cody enjoyed family, friends, outdoors, hunting and fishing and his dog, Chico.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, John Carl and Mildred Varnadore and Donald Joe Laseter; and friends, Drew Renfro and Heath Carpenter.
