ALMA HAHN: ‘Leaving zoo reptile house; it makes my skin crawl’

April 4, 2011

Did you follow the adventure of the young Egyptian cobra that apparently slithered out of her confines at the Bronx Zoo? As I write this column, CNN is reporting that she has decided to make her reappearance.

Lady Hornet sets new school record

April 4, 2011

The Bryant Lady Hornets finished in fifth place Friday night at the Russellville Cyclone Relays.

Bryant scored 61 points to finish behind team champion Lake Hamilton (80 points), North Little Rock (78), Fort Smith Northside (72) and Cabot (72). In all, 23 schools competed.

Highlighting the Lady Hornets’ performance was sophomore Alexis Royal, who scored a team high 30 points. Royal set a new Bryant school record with her winning leap in the triple jump.
