HOLLENBECK: Traveling through life with great big sneezes

In certain parts of Eastern Asia — particularly in the Chinese, Japanese and Vietnamese cultures — a sneeze without an obvious cause at one time was perceived as a sign that someone was talking about the sneezer at that very moment.
If this is the case in international circles and it transcends to American shores, I would have to believe that a lot of people are talking about me because I’m a big sneezer — big both in volume and repetitiveness.
My sneezes can turn heads. Literally.

Jodie Jones, Jr., 82, recently passed away.
A graveside service will be held today at 1 p.m. at Evergreen East Cemetery in El Paso, Texas.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Jones; sons, Tommy Jones (Cindy) and John Heslep; daughter, Patricia Ann Blue; and sister, Virginia Alexander.
Arrangements are by Hillcrest Funeral Home.

James David Dollins, age 62 of Benton, died on June 17. James was born in Paris, Texas on July 26, 1948, to his parents, James and Marrianne Dollins.
He is survived by his loving wife, Nita, of 18 years and has family in Texas and Australia. James was a Navy Veteran, having served in Vietnam and is now at peace.
