Charlene Wheat Burns

Charlene Wheat Burns, 69, of Glen Rose, went to be with her Lord on Sept. 24, at her home. She was born Oct. 26, 1941, in Malvern to the late A.J. and Dossie (Floyd) Wheat. 
Charlene was an LPTN and worked for the state of Arkansas for 32 years.  She also was a member of Reyburn Creek Baptist Church, a loving mother, grandmother, and  great-grandmother.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her niece, Christy Jones White.

John Russell “J.R.” Harrell

John Russell “J.R.” Harrell, 87, of Jessieville, passed away Thursday, Sept. 22.  He was born in Dardanelle on Nov. 7, 1923, to Osco and Myrtle Harrell.
Mr. Harrell retired from Reynolds Metals in Bauxite and was a member of Cedar Mountain Baptist Church in Hot Springs.
He was preceded in death by his son, Cecil Doyle Harrell.
