Larry M. Hughes, 67, of Bentonville passed away October 24, at Regency hospital of Springdale. He was born January 18, 1945 in Benton to Eric and Mary Bragg Hughes. After graduating from high school, Larry went into the police academy. He was a proud police officer for in Benton and then later for the city of Berryville. He retired from his position as a police officer at NWACC, after 12 years of service. Â Larry was in avid reader, fisherman and hunter. He was a member at St. Stephens Catholic Church in Bentonville.
Reedy Edward Harris, 100, of Bauxite, died Thursday October 25. He was born February 12, 1912 in Center Ridge. Mr. Harris was a retired millwright and a member of the Church of God.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Franklin Harris and Josephine Brinkley Harris, wife, Claudia Harris, son, Edward Leon Harris, three brothers, Arthur, Glen and Harold Harris.
Freddie â€śMackâ€ť Ball, 76, passed to his heavenly home on Friday, October 26.Â Mack was born September 24, 1936 in Saline County and was the son of Janice Ball and Benton Poe.Â In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents who raised him, Elzie and Maud Ball; his sisters Merle Poe, Doris Burrows, Willie Glover, Marie Ball; brother Lindsey Ball and a special uncle Tazel Poe.
