Ferrel Vance Magby, 61 of Bauxite, passed away May 26.Â Â He was born October 30, 1950 in Bauxite to the late Eathel and Lola Brown Magby.Â He was a member of West Bauxite Missionary Baptist Church and retired after many years from Benton Parks and Recreation Dept.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Danny and Autry Magby.
Survivors, wife, Rose Magby of Bauxite, daughter,Â Amelia Rose Magby of Bauxite, brothers, Sebert Magby, Benton and Troy Magby of Bauxite, sisters, Dixie Smith, Bauxite, Linda West, Bauxite and Novis Glenn, Malvern.
Harold Thomas (Tom) Hicks, 67, of Benton, passed away May 26.Â He was born February 17, 1945 in Little Rock, Arkansas to the late Henry and Pauline Hicks.Â Harold was an employee of Walmart for over 13 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Rick Hicks.
Survivors, wife, Linda Hicks of Benton, sons, Michael Lewis of Benton, Jeff Lewis of Benton, Scott Lewis and wife, Kathleen of Valley Springs, Ca., Donal Lewis and wife, Annie Mae of Anchorage, Alaska, daughter, Brandy Hicks of Benton, fourteen grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Jimmy N. Gullett, 82, of Benton, died Saturday May 26. He was born September 15, 1929 in Duke Oklahoma. Jimmy was a retired Teacher, Plumber, Salesman, owner of Jim Dandy Kennel and was a US Army Veteran.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Newt Gullett and Marie McDaniel Gullett.
Stephen William Coy, 45, of Deer Park, Wisconsin died on Wednesday May 23.Â Steve was born on June 26, 1967 in Salem, Ohio and attended Salem Senior High School (Class 1985).
Steve immediately enlisted and proudly served in the United States Navy for 14 years including a tour of duty in the Gulf War.Â In addition to earning the âSailor of the Yearâ award, Steve also earned numerous other honors, metals, awards and commendations while serving aboard the USS Nimitz, the USS George Washington, USS John F. Kennedy and USS Whidbey Island Aircraft Carriers.
Melissa Harvey Dockery of Little Rock, was born in 1955, to Mary Stansel Harvey and Edwin âBuddyâ Harvey and grew up in the small Mississippi Delta town of Ruleville. She died onÂ May 24 of complications from esophageal cancer. Melissa bravely lived her time with cancer as she lived her life: strong, self assured, involved, and always with a sense of humor.
Bobby âBoâ Eugene Patteson, 39, of Haskell, passed away on Wednesday, May 23, at his home. Bo was born March 14, 1973, in Riverside County, Calif., to Bobbie Eugene and Beverley (Rankin) Patteson Neal.
He was a member of the FFA, where he showed his horse. Bo attended and graduated from OSU Welding School. He worked in construction, building Walmarts and for four years was a welder for BECO Welding. Bo loved spending time and playing with his children. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and his motherâs cooking.
Marguerite (Margie) Helen Etien, 91, of Benton passed away Wednesday, May 23.Â She was born Feb. 26, 1921, in St. Clair, Pa.Â Mrs. Etien retired after 25 years of being an R.N. at St. Vincent Infirmary, was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church and Our Lady of Fatima Altar Society.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Marguerite Agnes Dodds; her husband, Robert Adrian Etien Sr.; and two sisters, Joan Liddle and Mildred Lambert.
Morris Douglas Tillery, 80, of Benton passed away Wednesday, May 23.Â He was born April 30, 1932 in Beaudry to the late Joseph David (Joe) Tillery and Myrtle Winnie Howard Tillery.Â He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict and a retired building contractor.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Dock Tillery and Cecil Tillery.
Alvin M. âPeteâ Wilson, 87, of Benton died Wednesday, May 23. He was born March 18, 1925, in Higginson. He was retired from Alcoa and a member of North Forth Missionary Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Kattie Minyard Wilson; parents, Johnny B. and Cora Wilson; and a brother, J.B. âJuniorâ Wilson.
Brantley Robert Davis of Bryant, infant son of Jason Davis and Emily (Wilson) Davis, went to be with His Jesus, Tuesday, May 22.Â He was born Feb. 11, 2012 in Little Rock.
He was preceded in death by his uncle, Sean Wesley Davis; and his great-great grandmother, Ruth Brantley Howard, who was his namesake.
