Tracey âTrayâ Matthew Moody, 40, of Benton, died Saturday, July 28, of injuries suffered in a motorcycle accident.
He was born June 26, 1972, in Little Rock. Tray was the owner and operator of TME and also a Master Electrician. He was a loving and dedicated father, taking his four sons duck hunting so that the love of the sport could be passed on to future generations. This past season, Tray was so focused on his sons, their safety and enjoyment of the sport that he didnât get a duck himself.Â
Ralph Lucion Riner Jr., 71, of Benton passed away Saturday, July 28.Â
He was born April 6, 1941, in Savannah, Ga., to the late Edna and Ralph Riner Sr. He retired from sales and was an entrepreneur. After his retirement he was employed part-time as a driver for SCAT.
In addition to his family, he loved building, watching and racing cars.
Adolphus J. "Jr." Westbrook, 87, of Haskell, passed away July 26.Â
He was born Feb. 9, 1925, in Haskell to the late Dolph and Gertie Sims Westbrook.Â
"Jr." was a member of Crossroads Baptist Church and served in the Army during World War II.
 He was preceded in death by his parents; and a son, Dean Westbrook.
Carolyn Sue Cauffiel, 76, passed away on July 25.
Carolyn was born on May 5, 1936, in Hot Springs. She enjoyed shopping and collected angels and crystal.
Carolyn worked at Union Bank for a number of years and was very involved in her church, Trinity Baptist Church in Malvern, where she was a member as well as serving as the secretary for the church for a short period of time.
She loved shopping. Her favorite collections were angels and crystal. Â Carolyn was dearly loved by all who knew her and will be greatly missed.
NORTH LITTLE ROCK â After defeating Rogers Optimist 11-7 in the first round of the Senior American Legion State Tournament, the Bryant Black Sox handled the North Little Rock Colts 14-4 in seven innings in round two on Saturday. On Sunday, the Black Sox had a little trouble scoring against their new rival Texarkana Razorbacks, but came out on the right side of a pitcherâs duel defeating their Zone 4 championship opponents 3-1 to advance to the championship game regardless of what they do against Paragould tonight.

Todd Glover and Amanda Clark are a young married couple with two young children. At first glance, one might assume them to be an ordinary family with ordinary needs, but this assumption would not be accurate.
The family's circumstances are indeed such that they have extraordinary needs.
The couple's younger child, Madison, now 7 months of age, was born with a rare form of cancer that resulted in the amputation of her right arm.
Doctors at first believed the child's arm was deformed, her mother said, but examination in the coming weeks revealed much more.
It took about 10 minutes for two men to take 38 iPhones and a smart-phone notebook at the Bryant Walmart store early Tuesday, authorities said.
Walmart officials reportedly told officers from the Bryant Police Department that the amount of items taken is worth $26,832. Sgt. Todd Crowson said they do not know how the suspects were able to walk past the front doors without setting off any alarms.
A complaint Monday about a neighbor's dog escalated to a heated confrontation between Benton resident Donald Power and Mayor David Mattingly.
The incident occurred late afternoon on Pope Street, where Power resides. In the center of it all is the future of three dogs.
Power contends that three dogs belonging to his neighbor, Russ Rogers, are creating a nuisance by barking and says one dog in particular is "vicious" and charges at him.

"This is between the residents of Bauxite and Mayor McMahan, not between him and me," says Debbi Purifoy, who is leading an effort to recall McMahan.
Purifoy has gathered approximately 130 signatures from residents in Bauxite (population 438) who apparently agree with her when she says, "We need to save this town before it's too late."

Marlin Ray Wright, 67, of Cabot passed away Tuesday, July 24. He was born April 7, 1945 in Bauxite.
Ray was a U.S. Army veteran and a retired Arkansas State Police trooper. He was a member of the Arkansas Retired State Police Association and quietly donated to several charities.Â
Ray was preceded in death by his parents, Marlin and Bertha Wright; two brothers, Joe Wayne and Ralph Wright; and three sisters, Shirley Bradley, Billie June Horvath and Juanita Jacobs.
