Connie Ann Barger Fehrmann, 59, a resident of Benton, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2012, in Benton. She was born Oct. 3, 1953, in St. Louis, Mo., to the late Stuart Barger and Alverne Short Barger. 

Phyllis Kathleen Grimes

Phyllis Kathleen Grimes, 89, of Bryant passed away Dec. 18.  She was born April 16, 1923, in Little Rock to the late Dwight and Anna Dailey Hoffman.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charlie Lee Grimes; and a son, Carroll Edward Matthews.
She is survived by her grandson, Chuck Matthews; a granddaughter, Theresa Matthews Bolen; great-grandchildren, Jennifer and Christa Matthews, Melanie, Samantha and Calvin Benefield; a great-great grandson, Brayden Brown; and a niece, Becky Sutton Darner.

Imogene 'Jean' Caple Baxley

Imogene "Jean" Caple Baxley, 73, a lifelong resident of the Sardis community, passed away on Thursday, Dec. 20, with her family by her side.
Born May 20,1939, to the late Elliott and Martha Jane Caple, Jean was the youngest of five children. She attended Bryant Schools from first through 12th grades where she played softball and was on the Senior High School Homecoming Court. Jean was a graduate of the Bryant High School Class of 1957.

Glenda Lee Neckar

My mother, Glenda Lee Neckar, was born Aug. 23, 1935, to Dovie May Pendergrass and James Ellory Spicer in Paris, Ark. She lived in Benton, Waco, Texas, and Tulsa, Okla. Her final destination was Hot Springs.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Eloise Spicer French; a brother, James Clifton Spicer; and, most recently, her dearest friend in the world, Ruth Landers.
She is survived by her sister, Martha Rowles of Hot Springs; and a niece, Glenda Rowles Pippin of Hot Springs.
