Paul Henry Kimpel, Jr.

Paul Henry Kimpel, Jr., 96, of Little Rock, Arkansas, passed to be with the Lord on September 21, 2012. Paul was born on November 21, 1915 to Paul Henry and Anna Brand Kimpel in St. Louis, Missouri. Having lost both of his parents by age 21, Paul supported his two younger sisters and his aunt while working at the Anheuser-Busch brewery. During this time, he enrolled at Washington University in St. Louis, and while continuing to work full time, succeeded in completed the requirements for a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering in 1943.

James William Watts

James William Watts, 75, of Benton, passed away Thursday, Sept. 20.  He was born Aug. 27, 1937 in Benton.
Mr. Watts was retired from Alcoa, served in the National Guard and was a member of Sharon Missionary Baptist Church. 
He was preceded in death by his parents, Allen and Lennis Watts; his first wife, Joetta Henderson Watts; a daughter, Carol Lynn; a grandson, Nicholas Hyde; and a sister, Doris Keesee.

Nanette Webb

Nanette Webb, 59, of Benton, was granted her wings on Wednesday, Sept. 19.  Her final days were surrounded by family and friends.
She was born Jan. 24, 1953, in Little Rock.
Nanette had touched many people throughout her life.  She was the leader of the Magic Clover 4 Leaf Club and was the 4-H program assistant of Saline County.
Nanette loved working with children through 4-H.  She had seen children grow up from little people to adults and loved every one of them as her own. Nanette especially loved her grandchildren.
She attended Mt. Vernon Baptist Church.
