Bryant police are asking for help in identifying a suspect that burglarized the Subway restaurant at the Alcoa Exchange shopping center last Friday night.
Police responded to the store's alarm late that night and found the drive-thru window busted and cash register drawer stolen.
Surveillance footage shows a black man wearing a black coat and red ski cap break the window with a rock and steal the cash register.
Authorities are encouraging anyone who has information regarding this incident to notify the Bryant Police Department Criminal Investigation Division at (501)943-0943.
BRYANT â€“ Two-time All-State and three-time All-Conference selection and Bryant Lady Hornet setter Hannah Rice is taking her talents South for the upcoming season. Rice signed a letter of intent to play volleyball for the Southern Arkansas University (Magnolia) Lady Muleriders on Wednesday at Bryant High School. There was little doubt in Rice's mind after visiting SAU.
"When I visited there, I loved the campus," Rice said. "I felt at home almost immediately. It wasnâ€™t too big or too small. It was the perfect size. Their volleyball team is really good and I wanted to be a part of it."
An alzheimer's family training workshop will be held at First United Methodist Church in Benton on Tuesday, June 4 at 1 p.m. The workshop is free and formatted to provide information and materials about the illness. The workshop will cover the physiology of the disease, what to expect as the disease progresses, and how to handle the behaviors associated with the illness.
