Sherri Dianne Ridge Cathey

Sherri Dianne Ridge Cathey, 39, left us to be with the Lord on June 26, 2013. She was born Nov. 22, 1973, in Little Rock, to Dale and Shirley Ridge as the youngest of three children.
She attended school in Bryant and graduated from Bryant High School. She earned a degree in accounting from UALR and went on to earn a master's degree in education to pursue a teaching career. She finished her career teaching at Bethel Middle School in Bryant.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Leslie Scruggs; and her paternal grandmother, Lois Ridge.

Ruby Helen Cullipher

Ruby Helen Cullipher, 82, of Benton passed away June 27, 2013, at Saline Memorial Hospice house. She was born Feb. 22, 1931, in Guthrie, Okla.
She was the daughter of Edward Turner and Mary Mills Turner. Ruby was a homemaker for 76 years. She was a member of Benton Pentecostal Church of God and enjoyed caring for her children.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Mary Turner; her brother, Ellis Turner; her sister, Inadelle Spakes; and her son, Ralph Cullipher.

Eva Power Moore

Eva Power Moore, 84, of Benton died Wednesday, June 26, 2013, with her family at her side. She was born in Benton on Sept. 3, 1928, to the late Leslie and Mamie Landers Power.
She graduated from Benton High School in 1946 and went on to attend Little Rock Junior College and then the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree.

James Martin Hopper

James Martin Hopper, 78, of Little Rock, passed away June 25, 2013.  He was born Jan. 31, 1934, in Leola to Pete and Lucille Hopper, the superintendent of schools and the postmaster.

Lt. Freddie Marion 'Jack' McKinley

Lt. Freddie Marion "Jack" McKinley, who was retired from the Arkansas State Police, passed away on June 23, 2013, at the Murfreesboro Rehab and Nursing Center.
He was the son of W.H. "Bud" McKinley and Rosa Brewer. He was a graduate of Fountain Lake School, attended flight school and became a flight instructor and commercial pilot. He retired from the Arkansas State Police in 1980 after 32 years of service.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Murfreesboro and a deacon emeritus. He was a member of Whittington Lodge 365 and a 32nd-degree Mason.
