Improvements to U.S. 167 will require a lane closure in Saline County, according to Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department officials.
The work will require the southbound outside lane to be closed between Interstate 530 and Arkansas 367 in southeastern Saline County. The closures will be Monday, Aug. 12 through Thursday, Aug. 15, between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. each day, weather permitting. Traffic will be controlled using cones and warning signs.
Pavement examinations will require a lane closure on Interstate 30 in Saline County next week, according to Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department officials.
The work will be performed on Interstate 30, just west of U.S. 70. It will require the westbound outside lane to be closed between mile markers 108 and 110.
The closures will be Monday, Aug. 12 through Thursday, Aug. 15 and Monday, Aug. 19 through Tuesday, Aug. 20. The closures will only occur between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., weather permitting.
Traffic will be controlled using barrels and warning signs.
Saline County sheriff's deputies responded late Thursday night to an alarm at East End Pharmacy.
According to a police report of the incident, the glass had been broken on the front door of the business and a box of stuffed toys was missing.
According to police, surveillance footage showed three suspects, each wearing hoodies, masks and gloves, were involved in the incident.
Footage showed they drove a new-model white Chevrolet Traverse.
A pharmacy in Shannon Hills also was burglarized, according to the Shannon Hills Police Department.
