A Benton woman was arrested Monday night after a report that she threatened an alleged victim with a knife.
Officers responded to Cole Street for the report about 9 p.m. and, after talking to the victim, made contact with Chantelle Cox, 31, inside the home.
Cox was then arrested and charged with aggravated assault.
She is currently incarcerated at Saline County jail.
Police say a former Maumelle coach put two children in danger when she brought them along with her for an alleged meth deal last Thursday.
Bryant police reportedly were given a tip that a drug deal was to take place on that day in the Lowe's parking lot.
Members of the Narcotics Unit and Criminal Investigation Division monitored the parking lot and were able to arrest Brittany Burns, 36, of North Little Rock after reportedly observing a drug deal.
During the arrest, officers found a 9-year-old boy and a 17-year-old girl in the vehicle with Burns.

This fall's event will be held Sept. 30-Nov. 24. This past spring, nearly 2,000 people from 27 counties took part in Walk Across Arkansas. They walked more than 1.6 million minutes, which translates into an estimated 80,009 miles, enough to go around the world more than three times.
Benton police officers were called to a disturbance at Days Inn on Friday, Aug. 16, about 8:47 p.m.
The suspect, Bradley Jordan, 28, had threatened a suspect with a knife and was charged with aggravated assault and carrying a weapon. Jordan also had active warrants out of the Benton and Bryant police departments.
Jean Mobley Millsap, 69, of Hensley, died Thursday, Aug. 15, 2013. She was born Sept. 23, 1943, in Vaden, to the late Jesse and Nancy (Hammons) Mobley.
She is survived by her husband, Clyde Millsap; children, Barbara Jo (Mike) Russell, David, Mike, and Teresa.

Melba Caple Beaty, age 89, of Benton passed away Saturday, Aug. 17, 2013.
She was born Aug. 29, 1923, in Sardis.
Melba was a housewife and a member of Mt. View Missionary Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Elliott and Martha Jean Caple; her husband, Bennie Beaty; her sisters, Frances McDorman and Jean Baxley; and a grandson, Matthew Beaty.
Charles David Lewallen, age 56, of Haskell passed away Friday, Aug. 16, 2013, at his home.
He was born Jan. 26, 1957, in Malvern.
Charles was a U.S. Air Force veteran.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Winona Raper Lewallen; and a nephew Jeremy Lewallen.
Survivors include three daughters, April Nabholz, Amber Shapter and Autumn Buckner; hia father, Charles Clifford Lewallen; two brothers, Clifton and Timmy Lewallen; and eight grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Ashby Funeral Home.
Jesse Lee Haislip, age 83, of Benton passed away on Aug. 15, 2013. He was born Oct. 6, 1929, in Cardwell, Mo.
Jesse was a retired plumber and pipefitter for Reynolds Metals Co. and a member of the Church of Christ.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Emmett and Mary Jane Williams Haislip; two brothers, Sam and Harvey; and two sisters, Ruby Lovins and Virgie Cox.
Sharlotte Gjestvang Sawyer, 70, of Lono passed away Friday, Aug. 16, 2013.Â She was born Nov. 10, 1942, in Little Rock, the daughter of George and Anna Lee Crowley Gjestvang.
She enjoyed cooking, sewing and embroidery. Sharlotte was a member of South Main Missionary Baptist Church.Â Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Owen "O.J." James Sawyer Jr.; and a sister, Marie Heitman.
Dusky M. Land, 66, of Benton, went home to his heavenly father this past Wednesday, after a long progressive illness, following a stroke and cancer. He was saved, had made peace with the Lord, and was eager to be united once more with his wife, Mary Pate Land; his parents, W.O. and Lenore, and his beloved brother, Drayton.
