Walter C. “Pinky” Caldwell

Walter C. “Pinky” Caldwell, 86, of Bryant died Tuesday, September 24, 2013.  He was born November 3, 1926 in Lonsdale to the late Walter S. and Dora Moore Caldwell.  He retired as a dispatcher for A, P&L and served as a deacon at Temple Baptist Church.  Mr. Caldwell served in the U.S. Navy and was a 32nd Degree Master Mason. 
In addition to his parents, his loving wife of 57 years, Reba C. Caldwell and eleven siblings also preceded him in death.

From Sgt. Todd Crowson of the Bryant Police Department:

Last night 9/23/13, just after 10:00 the Bryant Police Department received a call from one of our Officers reporting that someone had broken into his police vehicle and took several Police items, including his weapon, raid vest, taser. Investigators began to immediately work on the case in attempt to locate the stolen items and find the person who was responsible for the theft.
