Richard D. Boone, age 61, of Bryant passed away Wednesday, Aug. 7, 2013.
He was born Oct. 14, 1951, in Little Rock to the late Bill C. and Edna Lee Branstratter Boone.
Ricky had retired from Alcoa and was currently was working part-time at Walmart. He was a member of Mountainside United Methodist Church in Hot Springs Village.
Debbie Ruth Fuller Siratt, age 53, of the Antioch Community passed away Aug. 7, 2013, at Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock.
She was born July 13, 1960, in Corpus Christi, Texas, to Vernon R. and Sarah Ruth Mitchell Fuller.
Over the course of two decades, Debbie touched the lives of many students as a sixth-grade teacher at Glen Rose and an ALE teacher at Malvern's Beta School and Wilson Intermediate.
She was preceded in death by her father, Vernon; her son, Christopher Aaron; and her sister, Doris Ruth.
Sadie (Aleese) Goins, 82 of Malvern, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, Aug. 7, 2013, at Saline Memorial Hospice House in Bryant.
She was born March 3, 1931. in Grapevine to the late John Mark and Sadie A. Threlkeld.Â Sadie was a member of Ten Mile Missionary Baptist Church in Lonsdale, was a devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother, friend and homemaker.
Sadie was preceded in death by her parents; sons, Bobby Threlkeld and Troy Wayne James; two daughters, Cynthia Gaile Richardson and Connie Darlene Parish; seven brothers; one sister; and a son-in-law, Edward Smith.
George Auther Whatley, age 70, of Benton went to be with his Lord on Monday, Aug. 5, 2013.
He was born June 8, 1943 in Hensley to the late Claude Whatley and Vera Styles Whatley. He was an Army veteran and former owner of Statewide Roofing.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Charlotte Whatley; a son, David Whatley; a sister, Winnie June Peoples; and three brothers, Ben Whatley, Floyd Whatley and Charley Whatley.
Paul Michael Mortensen, 59, of Fayetteville died Aug. 8, 2013.
He was born June 9, 1954, in Racine, Wis., and was the son of Eric Edward and Patricia Carol Mortensen.
Paul received a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Arkansas in 1980. He loved architecture, working with clients and looking at the technical side of structures.
Our sweet angel, Kinsey Robinson, went to be with the Lord on Aug. 10, 2013. Kinsey was born Aug. 10 to Sherri Hilligas and David Robinson in Benton.
Kinsey was preceded in death by her brother, Parker Alan Hilligas.
She is survived by her loving parents; four siblings, Paxton Blake Hilligas, Hunter Robinson, Hannah Robinson and Hayden Robinson; her grandparents, Eddie and Tammy Hilligas and Carmelita Sanchez; her great-grandpa, Earl Hilligas; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Eugene Owens, 76, of Pine Bluff passed away Wednesday, Aug. 7, 2013.Â He was born June 24, 1937 in Humphrey.
Mr. Owens was a Navy veteran of the Korean War, an electrician and a member of Benton Foursquare Church.Â
He was preceded in death by his parents, Deward and Edna Owens; his wife, Pauline Owens; and a sister, Lorrene Owens.
The National Weather Service has ordered a flash flood watch for areas of central Arkansas, including Saline County, effective until 1 a.m. Wednesday.
Heavy rain could quickly lead to flash flooding of streams, low water crossings and poor drainage areas, according to the NWS. The NWS warns that low-lying areas will be prone to flooding and water may cover roadways in areas.

WALNUT RIDGE â€” An autopsy report says a 14-year-old Walnut Ridge girl found dead in the Black River died of blows to the head with a heavy object.
The report released by Arkansas State Police says Sidney Randall was hit more than once in head and that her DNA was found under the fingernails of her now-dead stepfather â€” John Cornell.
State Police Sgt. Scott Pillow told The Jonesboro Sun (http://bit.ly/19fBfnv ) that all evidence points to Cornell as the killer.
Sharon Extension Club will meet 10 a.m. Thursday at the Saline County Fairgrounds for its annual picnic.Â The club will furnish meat and bread.Â Members are to bring potluck.
