Lethel Frank Slatton, 86, of Hot Springs, formerly of Benton, died Dec. 31, 2012. He was born in Murfreesboro on Nov. 7, 1926, to Benjamin Frank and Lesta Lala Slatton.
Frank was an educator who spent 35 years in Arkansas schools. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Hot Springs and a member of Doug and Patsy Ervinâ€™s Sunday School Class.
Billy Keith Butts, 62, of Bauxite passed away Sunday, Dec. 30, 2012, at St. Vincent Infirmary Medical Center in Little Rock. He was born Dec. 5, 1950, in Hanna City, Ill., to the late James Butts and Marylin (Miller) Butts.
Bill was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He attended New Song Community Church in Benton.Â
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, David Butts.
Dovie Jewell Davis of Little Rock passed away Jan. 1, on what would have been her 75th wedding anniversary. She was born Nov. 15, 1914 in Saline County. She was a member of Pulaski Heights United Methodist Church. Dovie was a gardener and truly loved flowers. She belonged to the Elmhurst Garden Club of Little Rock for 37 years. Recently she enjoyed her friends and activities at Andover Place.
