Nell Mercer Eddleman, 93, of Aubrey passed away on Saturday, Nov. 8, 2014 while a resident at Perry County Nursing Center in Perryville,
She was born Nov. 2, 1921 in Perry County, Tenn.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jess and Myrtle Whitwell Mercer; her husband, James Woodrow Eddleman of 50 years; seven brothers, Elmer, Paul, Clint (Doc), Edger (Dude), Dick, Rex and Donald Mercer; one sister, Faye Mercer Eddleman.
We celebrate the life of Bobby Gene Stegall, 83, of Haskell, who completed his earthly service for Jesus Christ on Nov. 7, 2014.Â Born Nov. 6, 1931 in Newport, he was the oldest child of the late Nora Magdalene Honey Stegall.
Growing up in Newport and Haskell, Bob worked multiple jobs to help support his mother, brothers, and sister. He enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1952, transferring in 1955 to the Army Reserve for five years.
On Aug. 2, 1955, Bob married the love of his life, Opal Fooks.
Sherry Ann Gilbert (Mawmaw), a one of a kind mother, grandmother, and best friend, joined hands with the Lord on Nov. 7, 2014 at the ripe old age of 62.
Mawmaw will live on through her adored daughters; Tammy Nichols, Cindy Butts, and Tonya Hames; her sisters, Gerry Anglin and Patty Wheeler; her grandchildren, Summer Hillman, Lori Nichols, Stephanie Hames, David Nichols, Amanda Butts, Mark Wolfenbarger, Spring Ramsey, Michael Weser, Ryan Butts, Miranda Hames, eight great grandchildren, and countless adopted friends and family.
