Arthur Denny Corley

Arthur Denny Corley, 67, of Benton passed away Oct. 16, 2014. He was born Aug. 16, 1947, in Malvern.
Denny was a retired buyer for Rineco Chemical Co. and a Baptist.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William Bill Corley and LaVada Kemp Corley; and a sister, Kathy Crawford.
He is survived by his wife, LaVern Davis Corley of Benton; a son, Justin Corley of Benton; a daughter, Alissa Gossett of Malvern; two brothers, Russell Corley of Tyler, Texas, and Richard Corley of Malvern; and his grandchildren, Matthew Gossett, Juli Corley, Jessica Hutcheson, and Alex Hutcheson.

Betty H. Griffin

Betty H. Griffin, 80, of Benton died Wednesday, Oct. 15, 2014.  She was born Oct. 30, 1933 in Point Cedar, to the late Dan R. and Mary (Harrison) Hammock and retired as a clerk for Mortgage Credit Resources.
Mrs. Griffin was a longtime member of Geyer Springs First Baptist Church. 
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Eugene F. “Gene” Griffin; and one sister.

Kyle Polk

Kyle Polk, 29, of Hot Springs Village passed away Monday, Oct. 13, 2014, at Saline Memorial Hospital. He was born Sept. 9, 1985, in Little Rock.
Kyle was a member of Jessieville First Baptist Church, a volunteer for the Jessieville School System, and an avid Chicago Cubs fan.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Sarah Polk; his grandfather, Gilbert Polk; and his great-grandmother, Mae Spivey.
