The man arrested in Forrest City yesterday in connection with the bank robbery Tuesday at Summit Bank in Benton may be connected to 20 other bank robberies throughout Arkansas, Mississippi, Kentucky, and Texas.

Benton officers arrested the man believed to be responsible for a robbery that occurred around 9:40 a.m. Tuesday at Summit Bank on Highway 35 North.
Richard Swicegood, 37, of Waxahachie, Texas, was arrested in Forrest City on Tuesday afternoon.
Swicegood is also believed to be responsible for robberies that occurred at the same bank in 2009 and 2011, said Lt. Kevin Russell, Benton Police Department spokesperson.
