Cox responds to Dabbs' statement

September 25, 2014

A pay raise Bryant Mayor Jill Dabbs received earlier this year has been brought into question after aldermen said they were not aware of the raise.

According to an ordinance passed in 2011, Dabbs was eligible for a 5 percent salary increase after she had served three years in office.

Dabbs told The Saline Courier that she believes Randy Cox, her challenger in the mayoral race, brought up this issue only with political motives, she said.
