•A woman on Brenda Drive reported her GPS was stolen.
•An employee at First Security Bank on Military Road reported receiving a fraudulent check.
•A woman at Benton Middle School reported her son's trumpet was stolen.
•Debra Ortiz, 30, of Benton was arrested on South Third Street and charged with assault on a family or household member.
•A man on South Market Street reported three guns were stolen from his residence.
•A man on Columbia Ave. reported the theft of a 2001 Black Toyota Tacoma.

Heather Danielle Baker, 20, of Benton went to be with the Lord on Aug. 22, 2014.
Heather was born in Searcy on Nov. 7, 1993. She was known for her genuine personality, her wit and her perfect smile.
Heather found a way to have fun no matter what she was doing. She had a love for shopping, photography, and spending time with her family and friends. She had a way of making everyone she met feel like they were the most important person in the world.
