One man was arrested and another man received a citation following a physical confrontation at the old Saline County Airport on Airlane Drive.
Before the dispute, the men had been flying model airplanes. A verbal disagreement escalated into a physical skirmish, said Lt. Kevin Russell, Benton Police Department spokesperson.
According to Russel, Robert Runyan, 69, of Traskwood was charged with disorderly conduct, carrying a prohibited weapon and aggravated assault; and James Dougherty, 65, of Benton was cited for disorderly conduct and terroristic threatening.
In a hearing Thursday morning in Saline County Circuit Court, Circuit Judge Grisham Phillips reduced the bond for Abel Enriquez, 65, who is charged with first-degree murder.
Along with the bond reduction, Phillips also set other restrictions.
His bond was reduced from $500,000 to $150,000. He currently remains jailed at the Saline County Detention Facility.
