Paul Mansfield, 71, of Benton, died July 23, 2014 after a full life of joy and happiness with his family, church members, and many friends he met in retail store management.  He was born on March 20, 1943 in Bauxite, to Clarence and Edna Mansfield. Paul was a member of Smith Street church of Christ.

FAA lifts ban on U.S. flights to Tel Aviv airport

WASHINGTON — The Federal Aviation Administration has lifted its ban on U.S. flights in and out of Israel.
The end of the ban, which the agency had imposed out of concern for the risk of planes being hit by Hamas rockets, was effective at 11:45 p.m. EDT Wednesday.

France: Air Algerie flight vanishes over N Mali

ALGIERS, Algeria — An Air Algerie flight carrying 116 people from Burkina Faso to Algeria's capital disappeared from radar early Thursday over northern Mali, the plane's owner and a French government official said.

Air navigation services lost track of the MD-83 about 50 minutes after takeoff from Ougadougou, the capital of Burkina Faso, at 0155 GMT (9:55 p.m. EDT Wednesday), the official Algerian news agency APS said.
