Arkansas Motorcyclists Helping Arkansans is seeking people for its program that gives financial assistant to individuals with health issues.
Each year the organization chooses a man, a woman and a child to receive aid.
The nonprofit organization raises money to help each with expenses, including medical bills, utilities, groceries and clothing.
People needing assistance may send a letter indicating their health issue and their need to AMHA, 22121 Dixie Road, Little Rock, AR 72223. The group also has an email address at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The National Weather Service has ordered a flash flood watch for areas of central Arkansas, including Saline County, effective until 1 a.m. Wednesday.
Heavy rain could quickly lead to flash flooding of streams, low water crossings and poor drainage areas, according to the NWS. The NWS warns that low-lying areas will be prone to flooding and water may cover roadways in areas.

WALNUT RIDGE â€” An autopsy report says a 14-year-old Walnut Ridge girl found dead in the Black River died of blows to the head with a heavy object.
The report released by Arkansas State Police says Sidney Randall was hit more than once in head and that her DNA was found under the fingernails of her now-dead stepfather â€” John Cornell.
State Police Sgt. Scott Pillow told The Jonesboro Sun (http://bit.ly/19fBfnv ) that all evidence points to Cornell as the killer.
Sharon Extension Club will meet 10 a.m. Thursday at the Saline County Fairgrounds for its annual picnic.Â The club will furnish meat and bread.Â Members are to bring potluck.
