UPDATE ON WATER MAIN BREAK: Crews are finishing repair at Hicks/Alcoa Road

FROM BENTON UTILITIES:
Crews are still on scene at Alcoa/Hicks Road intersection making the needed repair to the water main. The latest update from the scene: They have almost completed putting the line back together. They have a load of b-stone to backfill and secure the line in place with all of the rain, and then they will start bringing the pressure back up along with opening fire hydrants up to flush the lines in the area to remove air. They should start bringing the pressure back in about one hour, if things go well.

FROM BENTON UTILITIES:
Crews have just arrived on scene of a busted water main again at the intersection of Hicks/Alcoa Road. They are headed to get the necessary supplies and equipment to make the repair. They will proceed with digging it up and making the necessary repairs. Folks in this area will probably experience anywhere from very low to no water pressure for several hours.
