Funeral set for slain Arkansas real estate agent

NORTH LITTLE ROCK — Funeral services have been set for an Arkansas real estate agent who was found dead five days after she never returned from an appointment to show a house.

Crye-Leike (lyke) Realtors says the funeral for Beverly Carter will be held Saturday morning at First Pentecostal Church in North Little Rock. The real estate company says Carter was the firm's top listing agent and that she had "an infectious laugh that brightened the whole office."

Crye-Leike says visitation for Carter will be held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday at the church.

Charging documents show Phelps DUI tied to alcohol

Olympic champion Michael Phelps is facing five traffic charges, including three involving drunken driving, after being pulled over by police in Baltimore.

The Maryland Transportation Authority Police charged Phelps early Tuesday with DUI but weren't specific about the substance they said affected his driving.

Severe storms to ignite from Texas to Minnesota Tuesday

AccuWeather reports  the same system that brought severe weather to the Front Range of the Rocky Mountains on Monday will deliver another round of severe storms to the Plains on Tuesday.

Thunderstorms are set to erupt from eastern South Dakota to the Texas Panhandle on Tuesday afternoon before weakening and tracking eastward during the overnight hours.

Due to the timing of the storms, wind, rain and hail may impact traffic along portions of I-29, I-70, I-35, and I-27 around the same time as the evening commute.
