•A man on Surrey Lane reported wiring was stolen from a house under construction.
•A woman on West Narroway Street reported a gun was stolen from her residence.

•An employee at Salem Citgo on Salem Road reported an individual drove off without paying for fuel.
•A woman on Gravel Ridge Road reported a disturbance.
•A woman on Jody Drive reported two chain saws were stolen.
•A woman on East Sawmill Road reported her tires were slashed.

Arkansas State Fair gates closed until 4 p.m.

The Arkansas State Fair will not open its gates until 4 p.m. today. The official State Fair website notes that this delay is due to the severe weather in the area and concern for the safety of all visitors.

Flood possibility continues in much of Arkansas

LITTLE ROCK — The National Weather Service says the threat of flooding continues for much of Arkansas.
A flash flood watch is in effect through Saturday afternoon for about 45 counties in central and southern Arkansas in the area south of a line from Clarksville to Batesville.
