CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. â€” NASA's new Orion spacecraft circled the planet Friday on a high-stakes test flight meant to usher in a new era of human exploration leading ultimately to Mars.
The unmanned journey began with a sunrise liftoff witnessed by thousands of NASA guests. Parts of the spacecraft peeled away exactly as planned, falling back toward Earth as onboard cameras provided stunning views of our blue, cloud-covered planet.
A Benton man and woman were arrested on Lillian Street for allegedly being in possession of crack cocaine.
Louis Payne, 58, and Lillie Hill, 57, were arrested in connection with the incident. While serving a search warrant, officers allegedly found 6.2 grams of crack cocaine and items used to package and sell it, said Lt. Kevin Russell, Benton Police Department spokesperson.
They were also charged for the home being within 1,000 feet of a church.

Students from Hill Farm Elementary participated in Transportation Day on Tuesday at the school. The children had the opportunity to check out a race car, a pick-up truck and an ambulance as they learned about various modes of transportation.
