Youngster's gift makes big difference; local girl cuts long hair, donates to Wigs for Kids

October 14, 2014

Anna Grace Burns' family has helped her realize that it's possible to help others even when you're only 5.

Anna Grace has learned that kids sometimes need help from other kids and she chose to do just that.

The Benton kindergartner, who attends Caldwell Elementary School, decided she wanted to follow her older sister Hannah's example and help children who are losing their hair because of a catastrophic illness.

According to Anna Grace's mother, she had 12 inches of her hair cut to donate to Wigs for Kids.
