PUNXSUTAWNEY, Pa. — This morning, I looked down and noticed something — I was wearing a press pass. Now, I know that it's part of my job to wear one, but it's not all that often — at least not in these parts — that I actually need one.
Devin Hunt, 23, of Bryant was found not guilty in the June 2012 killing of his 4-month-old daughter, Presley Faith Hunt, Friday night after a four-day trial in Saline County Circuit Court. The 12-person jury deliberated for 50 minutes before returning with a verdict.
Hunt was arrested and charged with capital murder in September 2012 after an investigation was launched in the case of his daughter's death. The child died from what experts called "abusive head trauma" two days after being taken to the hospital.
