Benton police are at the scene of a reported bank robbery that occurred around 9:30 a.m. at Summit Bank on Arkansas 5 in Benton.
Police reported that the suspect is a white man 5 feet 10 inches tall wearing an "Affliction" T-shirt.
The suspect displayed a pistol before leaving in a gold-colored Chevrolet Impala, according to Lt. Kevin Russell, police spokesman.

David Collins, a detention officer at the Pulaski County Detention Center, was arrested by Benton police on June 28 and charged with aggravated assault.
Collins, who has worked at the detention center since June 17 of last year, has been placed on administrative leave, Lt. Carl Minden said.

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) â€” Arkansas legislative leaders hope to quickly tackle the three issues facing them in this week's special session, but the addition of a bill to restrict the lottery's games and objections to changes in teacher insurance could complicate those plans.
The House and Senate will convene Monday afternoon for a special legislative session called to deal with teacher insurance, prison overcrowding and the state's lottery. It'll be the third special session held since Democratic Gov. Mike Beebe took office in 2007.
