Tommy Aaron Buck Carpenter

Tommy Aaron Buck Carpenter entered into Heaven with his grandmother, Nelma Carpenter on Thursday, Oct. 20. He was born Oct. 30, 2002 in North Little Rock, to Thomas Carpenter and Angelia Pack Carpenter.
He was a member of River of Life Assembly of God, where he was on the Junior Bible Quiz Team. He was an honor roll student at Westbrook Elementary School in Haskell and a member of the Ravens Football Team in Bryant.

Nelma Deloris Carpenter

Nelma Deloris Carpenter, 72, of Little Rock, entered into heaven with her grandson, Tommy Aaron Buck Carpenter, on Thursday, Oct. 20.
She was born July 10, 1939, in Dresden, Kan., to the late Charles Otis Runyon and Lillian Hazel Hale Runyon. She earned a Bachelor of Science in music ministry and education from Southern Arkansas University and was a licensed minister with the General Council of the Assemblies of God. At the time of her passing, she was co-director of Assemblies of God World Missions Prayer Task Force.

Jerry Ellen Farrow, 69, of Benton, passed away Sunday, Oct. 23.  She was born Jan, 3, 1942, in Nashville.  Mrs. Farrow was a bail bondsman and a member of New Life Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Audrey H. and Pauline Lyons Clemmons; her husband, Robert Paul Farrow; and a brother, James H. Clemmons.

Jacky D. Bearden

Jacky D. Bearden, 58, of Benton went to be with his Lord on Oct. 20. He enjoyed deer hunting, music and drag racing.
Jacky attended school at Bauxite and was a member of Boy Scouts and Falcon Club of America. He retired from Enmar-Ameron in 1983 and was also a bus driver for Benton schools. Jacky also served in the Army National Guard.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Polly and H.E. Bearden; a nephew, Bobby Mathis Jr.; and a niece, Kayanna Bearden.

Mamie G. Sparks

Mamie G. Sparks, 85, of Benton, passed away Friday, Oct. 21.  She was born Feb, 14, 1926, in Malvern. 
Mrs. Sparks was a cook at the Arkansas State Hospital for 33 years. 
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Cleo Haney; her husband, Marion Sparks; a son, Charles Sparks; and a daughter, Ethel Brothern.

Samuel B. Ray, 89, of Benton passed away Wednesday, Oct. 19, in Benton. He was born Sept. 6, 1922, in Nashville, Tenn., to the late William Doak Ray and Eva Ray.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, William Doak Ray II; and a nephew, William Doak Ray III.
