David Wayne Sharp, 48, of Malvern died on Saturday, Dec. 10, while at home with his family. David was a member of Gospal Light Baptist Church. David was preceded in death by his grandparents; Labon and Marilla Sharp and Jimmy and Irene Clements, his father Orvin Sharp and one sister Melody Sharp.
He is survived by one son, Austin Chase Sharp, daughter Valorie Morgan Sharp, his mother Elizabeth Lovell, two brothers; Duane Sharp and wife, Renee of Long Beach, MS and James Sharp and wife, Carol of Traskwood.
Holly Irene Greenabaum, 64, of Little Rock died Sunday, Dec.11, in Little Rock. She was born Oct. 31, 1947 in Williamsport, Pa.
Holly was a homemaker and a Baptist. She was preceded in death by her parents, Morgan and Hilda Williams, daughter, Kim Greenabaum.Â
Survivors include her husband, William Greenabaum of Little Rock; a son, Robert Pfirman of Pennsylvania; a daughter and son-in-law, Stephanie and James Stearns Jr., of Bryant; two brothers, Tom Williams and Terry Williams, both of Pennsylvania; three granddaughters; and one great-granddaughter.Â
Tanner Lee Nalley, 19, of Benton passed away Sunday, Dec. 11.Â
He was born Nov. 21, 1992, in Little Rocks.Â Tanner was working at Cranfordâ€™s Grocery in Fountain Lake.
He was a graduate of Benton High School and was attending University of Arkansas at Little Rock and CABBI. He was a lifelong member of Sharon Missionary Baptist Church and recently became the youth minister at Center Hill Missionary Baptist Church.
Tanner was a member of the 4-H Club and the Missionary Baptist Student Fellowship.Â He was preceded in death by his father, Ronnie Nalley.Â
Allison Marie Hankins, 22, of Benton, recently passed away.
Allison was born May 29, 1989, in Benton to Debra (Gilbert) Hankins and the late Allen Dale Hankins.Â
Allison was an excellent drummer and guitarist, enjoying all kinds of music.
Ruthie Mae Ellis, age 87, of Conway, passed away Thursday, Dec. 8.
She was born Nov. 16, 1924, in Pike County.Â Mrs. Ellis was a homemaker and a charter member of Southside Church of Christ in Cabot.Â
She was preceded in death by her parents, Claude and Minnie Troute; her husband, James Troy Ellis; and a son, Tommy Ellis.
Col. Randle A. Yarberry, U.S. Marine Corps retired, 89, of Benton, died Saturday, Dec.10.
He was born in Fayetteville and grew up in Fort Smith.Â He was the son of the late Ella and Bill Yarberry.Â He attended the University of Arkansas and graduated from Arkansas State Teachers (now University of Central Arkansas).
