Kenneth Shepard, 80, of Benton died Wednesday, Dec. 7, in Bryant. He was born Feb. 19, 1931, in Hereford, Texas, to Henry and Mary Shepard.
Kenneth served in the U.S. Navy and retired from Alcoa. He was a member of the Good Samâ€™s Club.
Ken was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Herman and David; and the love of his life, his wife Mary Beth.
Wanda Sue Peebles, 75, of Benton passed away on Dec. 5. She was born March 18, 1936, to the late Enda and Simmy Handley.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy C. Peebles; and her grandson, Robert Lee Moore.
She is survived by three daughters, Brenda, Patty and Glenda; three sons, Timothy, David and Perry and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Evelyn Marie Collier, age 71, of Benton passed away Monday, Dec. 5.
She was born Jan. 18, 1940, in Middlesex, N.C., to the late Carmel and Stella (Haynes) Finch.
She was a retired secretary with Harrison Plumbing.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Glen William Collier; a granddaughter, Samantha Danielle Collier; two sons, William Turner and David Turner; and a brother, Leslie Finch.
Alice Estella Thomas of Alexander went to live with the Lord on Monday, Dec. 5.
She was a faithful employee and extended family member of Schroederâ€™s Antiques for more than 50 years. After retiring, she was employed at Good Shepherd Ecumenical Retirement Center for 12 years. She will be deeply missed by all of her family, friends and her extended family at the â€śCove.â€ť
She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, three brothers, and one son, Raymond Williams Sr.
Walter Don Shoptaw, 87, of Prattsville, passed away Saturday, Dec. 3, at his home.
He was born Oct. 12, 1924, in the Belfast Community, the son of the late Walter Roy and Elby Buie Shoptaw.
He was a member of Sweet Home Missionary Baptist Church in Prattsville, had retired as a supervisor from Alcoa and had proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during World War II. He enjoyed farming, camping, hunting, fishing and spending time with his grandchildren.
Brenda Kaye Gardner, 51, died Saturday, Dec. 3.Â Brenda was born Oct. 21, 1960, in Little Rock.
Brenda love camping, fishing and spending time outdoors.
She was preceded in death by her father, Bill Crow and one sister.
Bobbie Hazel Lou Dial, 73, of Leola, went to be with the Lord Dec. 5. Mrs. Dial was born July 20, 1938, in Sheridan to the late Roy Lee Flory and Gracie (Sanders) Flory.Â
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Ray Dial, and a son, Roy Dial.
Raymond Charles McClendon, 90, of Benton, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 6.Â He was born April 10, 1921 in Benton to the late Charlie and Ella McClendon.Â
Mr. McClendon worked for McCoy Furniture Factory, was a U. S. Army veteran and of the Baptist faith.Â He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and three sisters.
Graveside service will be held 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec.Â 8, at New Rosemont Cemetery with the Rev. Curtis Kyle officiating.

Frank W. Berdikoski, 93, of North Little Rock passed away Sunday, Dec. 4. He was born January 31, 1918 in Little Rock, to the late Frank W. and Nelly A. Gann Berdikoski. Frank was owner of Berdikoskiâ€™s Garage in North Little Rock. He was charter member of Calvary Baptist Church of Rose City, Arkansas Yacht Club and Arkansas Good Sam Camping Club. He was a veteran of U.S. Army Air Corps and staff sergeant of the 55th Fighter Squadron in World War II.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Patsy Berdikoski.
Carlene Gray of Benton passed away at her daughterâ€™s home in Pine Bluff on Dec. 4.Â She was a member of Holland Chapel Missionary Baptist Church.
Mrs. Gray was preceded in death by her father, Elijah Fitzhugh; her mother, Allie Mae Fitzhugh; her brothers, Calvin and Gary Fitzhugh; and her sisters, Willie Mae Rowland, Linda Chism and Mary Ann Saxton.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Robert G. Gray of Benton; a daughter, Diana Gray Millenbaugh and husband Bud of Pine Bluff; her granddaughter, Alexis Gray Millenbaugh of Dallas; and many nieces and nephews.
