A.E. “Gene†Wright, 86, of Benton died Tuesday, March 15, 2011.
He was born Feb. 1, 1925, in Bauxite.
Gene retired from Reynolds Metals Company after 31 years, owner of Gene’s Small Engines in Benton for 28 years, was a member of the Bauxite Masonic Lodge for 50 years, and a World War II Army Air Corp veteran. He was a long time member of Oak Grove Missionary Baptist church and United Missionary Baptist Church.
Katherine Elizabeth Harrison, 83, of Alexander died Tuesday, March 15, 2011, at the Baptist Health Medical Center.
She was born Jan. 1, 1928, in North Little Rock to her late parents, James R. Ard and Estella Gautihier Ard.
Euel Biggs, 85, of Bauxite passed away March 15, 2011, at his home.Â
He was born April 26, 1925, in Hillsboro, Texas, to the late Will and Vada Vessels Biggs.

Robert Henry Moore, 72, of Benton passed away Monday, March 14, 2011.
He was born July 17, 1938, in Little Rock to the late Evelyn Moore and Marvin Moore.
Gary P. Gibson, 57, of Benton passed away Monday, March 14, 2011.Â
He was born Jan. 17, 1954, in Jonesboro to the late James Preston Gibson and Thelma Scarborough Gibson.
Bob Calhoun, 76, of Benton died March 12, 2011. He was a retired food broker and an Elder at First Presbyterian Church in Benton.
Katherine L. Petty, 64, of Tull, passed away Sunday, March 13, 2011. She was born Dec. 25, 1946, in Tull. Katherine was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert Woodrow Scudder, Sr. and Evelyn Doris Scudder and two sisters, Mary Evelyn Meyer and Virginia Dale King.
Jesse Houston Hare, 74, of Benton, passed away Sunday, March 13, 2011. He was born Oct. 11, 1936, in Murfreesboro, Tenn. to the late John David and Margaret Rachel Hare.

Ray Basil Glover, age 64, of Benton, went to be with the Lord Saturday, March 12, 2011.Â
He was born to Lee Roy Glover and Clara Mae (Perser) Glover on March 8, 1947 in Leola, AR.
March 13th
Larry Wayne Wood Sr., 61, of Mabelvale went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 10, 2011.
He was born Sept. 3, 1949, in Tulare, Calif. Larry served in the U.S. Air Force as a firefighter for 20 years and retired in 1988 with the rank of master sergeant from the Little Rock Air Force Base. He was a member of the Sardis United Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Mildred; a sister, Linda; a brother, Gene; and one grandson, Alexander.
