Lois Ann Ables, 65, of Las Vegas, Nev., passed away April 17, 2011.
She was born July 16, 1945, in Benton to Jewell Ellis Buffington jr. and Maybelle Langley Buffington Reese.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Brenda may johnson; and her grandparents, John H. and Mimie Langley.
Trisha Laine Glenn Rice, 32, of Malvern, became an Angel on April 24, 2011, Easter Sunday.
She was born Aug. 10, 1978, in Heidelberg, Germany, to William â€śGannâ€ť and Lana Glenn.Â Trish held an Associate of Applied Science in Medical Office Administration, Certificate of Proficiency in Medical Office Administration, Certificate of Proficiency in Medical Terminology and Technical Certificate in Medical Coding.
Donald Burton Timm, 95, of Benton passed away Sunday, April 24, 2011, at his home.Â
He was born March 4, 1916, in Highmore, S.D., to the late Henry and Bertha Timm.Â
Mr. Timm worked for Curtis Publishing Company in Sioux City, Iowa, and was general manager of Brandon Furniture in Hot Springs.Â He came from a musical family, played the oboe, and loved music.Â He played the oboe in the Sioux City Symphony in Iowa and the Hot Springs Community Band for over 20 years.Â He was also a member of the Hot Springs Sertoma Club.
William Alan Harris, 56, of Benton died Tuesday, April 26, 2011, at the Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock.
Alan was born March 25, 1955, in Little Rock to Austin and Georgia Harris. He was an avid fisherman and golfer and loved being with his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Austin Harris.
Betty Ann Wilson, 86, of Bryant went to be with the Lord on Monday, April 25, 2011.
She was born July 17, 1924, in Cassopolis, Mich., to the late Christopher Columbus Kay and Marguerite Purlee Kay.
She was a homemaker and member of Geyer Springs First Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and son, Charles Wilson.
Bonnie Lee Landers, 79, of Benton passed away Tuesday, April 26, 2011.Â
She was born Jan. 20, 1932, in Salem to the late Samuel L. Shepherd and Floyce Thomas Shepherd.Â
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bob J. Landers.
She was a homemaker whose life revolved totally around her family.Â Mrs. Landers was a devoted wife, and loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Benton.Â
Dorothy Rule Jones, 96, of Bryant passed away Monday, April 25, 2011.Â
She was born Nov. 10, 1914, in Lonoke to the late Dr. E. Clifton Rule and Oma Harrell Rule.Â
Mrs. Jones was a graduate of Pine Bluff High School.Â She attended Hendrix Collage and Galloway Girls School.Â Mrs. Jones married John Clayton Jones Sr. on Sept. 8, 1932, and he passed away on Feb. 11, 1977.Â She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Red Cross Volunteer, member of Junior League of Pine Bluff and a Life Master of Duplicate Bridge.Â
