Mary Jane Butler, 72 of Alexander, passed away on Saturday, May 7, 2011. She retired from Dassault Falcon Jet at the age of 70.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents, William Norton and Mabel Laverne Darner. She is survived by two daughters, Becky Christian of Dickson of Tennessee, and Debbie Wildhaber (Alan) of Jacksonville; two grandsons, Bryan Butler (Amy) of Dickson, Tenn., and Jacob Carson (Ashley) of Bryant; one great-granddaughter, Maddie Grace Butler of Dickson, Tenn.; a special friend, Casey Mahalec; three brothers; and one sister.

John W. Johnson, age 71, of Benton, passed away Friday, May 6, 2011. He was born Sept. 15, 1939, in Traskwood. Mr. Johnson was a licensed building contractor in Arkansas and Denver, Colo. He also spent a short time in the U.S Army. Mr. Johnson was preceded in death by his parents, William and Ora Johnson; wife, Mary L. Johnson and two brothers, Dick and Gene Johnson.
Martha Pearl (Pittman) Holder, 55, of Malvern was born in Malvern on Nov. 14, 1955, the daughter of Wiley and Martha (Barker) Pittman. Martha was a loving mother, Mema, sister and friend.Â
James A. Due passed away unexpectedly on May 3, 2011.
Jim was born in Little Rock on Sept. 23, 1953, to John Allen Due and Mary Lou Steed Due. He received his BBA and MBA from University of Arkansas. Jim was a 26-year employee of Merrill Lynch in New York City and Dallas as a bond trader and vice president of institutional bond sales. Most recently, he was vice president of investments for UBS Financial Services.
Jim will be remembered by his many friends and clients as a respected and trusted financial advisor and a passionate golfer.
Marilyn Ann Tarver, age 70, of Benton, passed away Friday, May 6, 2011. She was born Aug. 26, 1940, in Iowa. Mrs. Tarver was a homemaker and of the Catholic Faith. She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Margaret Hanig and her husband, Tommy Tarver.
Nancy Lou Hobbs, age 92, of Benton, passed away Friday, May 6, 2011. She was born May 6, 1919, in Tull. Mrs. Hobbs worked at Wal-Mart for 20 years and was a member of Trinity Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Pont and Mary Langley Monks; husband, Earl Hobbs and a brother, Jerome Burrow.

Christina Wilson Hudgins, 37, of Benton passed away May 1, 2011, at her home in Benton.
She was born June 18, 1973, in Little Rock to James and Debbie Wilson.
Christina was employed by Otter Creek Assembly of God and was a member of the Holland Chapel Baptist Church in Benton.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Chris Hudgins; and a son, Blake Hudgins.
Nancy Faye Edwards, 64, went home to be with her Lord and Savior May 2, 2011.Â
She was born in Little Rock March 26, 1947.Â
She and her husband owned Shannon Hills Christian Pre School and CW Edwards Construction Company. Nancy loved spending time with her family and working with children. She was a member of Christ Church.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Alene Pinkerton; and her sister, Carylon Holland.Â

Stephannie Lynn Jones, 43, of Benton passed away May 2, 2011.
She was born April 23, 1968, in Jacksonville to George and Margaret Oliver. Stephannie was a member of two local Bunco groups and worked as a customer service representative.
She was preceded in death by her son, James Dwight Jones.
John Edward Wheeler, 64 of Benton passed away Friday, April 29, 2011, in Benton.
John was born Nov. 20, 1946, in Benton to Johnnie and Gertie Wheeler.
John is retired from the logging business and he was of the Pentecostal faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and two sisters, Janice Kaye Wheeler and Patsy Ruth Walker.
John is survived by two brothers, Ronnie Wheeler of Benton and Steven Wheeler of Benton; two sisters, Beulah Putman of Bauxite and Joanna Cockman of Haskell; several nieces and nephews, numerous friends, cousins, and other relatives.
