Col. Theodore R. “Ted” Dale, Ret. USAF, made his last earthly flight on 9-Sep-11 at 15:12 hours.
Cody Wayne Landrum, 16, of Paron went to heaven to run into the Lord's arms on Sept.
Funeral services for Ruby Elizabeth Nielsen, 87, of Jacksonville, Texas, are scheduled for 10 a.m., Monday, Sept.12, at East Side Baptist Church in Jacksonville, Texas, with the Rev. Calvin Gould officiating. Burial will be held at Delamar Cemetery in Manning, Ark., on Tuesday, Sept. 13, at 1 p.m.
Mrs. Nielsen passed away Friday, Sept. 9, in Jacksonville, Texas. She was born July 14, 1924 in Manchester, Ark.
Mrs. Nielsen held a doctorate degree and she was a homemaker.
Regina Denise Rider-Mize, 44, of Benton passed away on Aug. 31.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Carolyn Rider.
Regina is survived by her daughter, Haylie Rider; a granddaughter, Aadison; her father, Richard Rider; a brother, Curtis Rider; a sister, Lawanna Rider; two nephews, Sam Rider and Tyler Rider; one niece, Hannah Rider; and a host of family and friends that will love and miss her dearly.
A memorial service for Regina was held on Sept. 8 at New Life Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers donations for the memorial service may be made at Dial & Dudley Funeral Home.

Roger D. Sims, 67 of Alexander passed away on September 5. He was born on May 14, 1944 to Robert and Verna Sims. Roger enjoyed working on old cars and entertaining his grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Verna Sims.
Roger is survived by his wife, Wanda Sims; one son, Ty Sims; two step-sons; William David Beard and wife,Yolanda and Ronald Nolan Beard and wife, Holly; granddaughters; Jessica Williams, Melanie Sims, Kimberly Beard, Brittany Montgomery; one grandson, Ronnie Beard JR; one sister, Sue Galahar and one brother, Jack Sims.

Buddy A. Dewberry, 72, of Haskell died Saturday, Sept. 3.
He was born April 3, 1939, in Arkansas County. He was a retired machinist and was a member of the Church of God.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William C. and Velma Morris Dewberry; and a brother, Jimmy Dewberry.
Bonnie Jean Baird Wilson of Glen Rose, ascended to be present with the Lord on September 4, at the age of 70. She was born April 17, 1941 in Kansas City, Missouri. She resided in Tulsa, Oklahoma until age 12, and then lived in Shaker Heights (Cleveland), Ohio until she married her husband at age 22. She lived in Malvern (Glen Rose) the remaining years.

Gilbert Rodriguez, 69, passed away peacefully at his home in Mablevale, Aug. 28. Â
He was preceded in death by his parents; Trinidad and Adela Rodriguez; one daughter; Cynthia Byford and one sister; Gloria Salinas.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 31 years, Glenda; five children; Gilbert Jr., Robert, Harvey, Johnny and Gloria Rodriguez; two step-children; Charles Tyson and Glenda Glass; eighteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Four brothers; Joe, Hector, Trinidad and Dale Rodriguez; three sisters Eva Ybarra, Alice Tamez and Diane Lopez, all of South Texas.
Chief Master Sgt. Donald E. "Sam" Hodshire (Ret. USAF), 81, of Venus, Texas, passed away August 24, while surrounded by his loving family at his Venus home. Sam was born November 24, 1929 in Granite City, IL to Jackson and Alma Grace Hodshire. He served his country proudly in the United States Air Force and retired in 1969 having achieved the highest rank of the enlisted, Chief Master Sergeant. On December 5, 1953 Sam married Etta Watson in Dundee, Scotland. He had a unique sense of humor and easily made friends wherever he went. He enjoyed fishing, golfing and gardening.
