Nancy Faye Edwards, 64, went home to be with her Lord and Savior May 2, 2011. 
She was born in Little Rock March 26, 1947. 
She and her husband owned Shannon Hills Christian Pre School and CW Edwards Construction Company. Nancy loved spending time with her family and working with children. She was a member of Christ Church.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Alene Pinkerton; and her sister, Carylon Holland.

Stephannie Lynn Jones, 43, of Benton passed away May 2, 2011.
She was born April 23, 1968, in Jacksonville to George and Margaret Oliver. Stephannie was a member of two local Bunco groups and worked as a customer service representative.
She was preceded in death by her son, James Dwight Jones.

John Edward Wheeler

John Edward Wheeler, 64 of Benton passed away Friday, April 29, 2011, in Benton.
John was born Nov. 20, 1946, in Benton to Johnnie and Gertie Wheeler.
John is retired from the logging business and he was of the Pentecostal faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and two sisters, Janice Kaye Wheeler and Patsy Ruth Walker.
John is survived by two brothers, Ronnie Wheeler of Benton and Steven Wheeler of Benton; two sisters, Beulah Putman of Bauxite and Joanna Cockman of Haskell; several nieces and nephews, numerous friends, cousins, and other relatives.

Anne R. Tully

Anne R. Tully, 79, of Little Rock passed away Sunday, May 1, 2011. 
She was born Nov. 20, 1931, in Saline County. 
Mrs. Tully was retired from the Arkansas State Revenue Office, a former member of the Little Rock Chapter of the Eastern Star and of the Baptist faith. 
She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry D. and Minnie C. Wade; ex-husband, John Tully Sr.; two daughters, Vivian Kay Tully and Karen Ann Giles; and two brothers, Joseph Wade and Henry D. Wade II.

Brooks Odell Nichols, 76, of Benton, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, April 27, 2011.
He was born on April 22, 1935, in Camden.

Mildred M. Green

April 28, 2011

Mildred M. Green, 87, of Benton, died Tuesday, April 26, 2011 in Bryant. She was born March 2, 1924, to Albert and Donnie Roberts. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by eight brothers; one sister; and husband, Leo Green.
She is survived two sons, Tinker Green of Benton and Don Green and wife Bonnie of Cabot; four grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Summit Church of God. Burial will be in Summit Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Ashby Funeral Home.

Betty Ann Angermiller Miller

Betty Ann Angermiller Miller, 67, of Hot Springs passed away peacefully in her home April 25, 2011.
She was born Oct. 22, 1943, in the community of Benton near Point Cedar in the home of her grandparents, Walter and Tennie Hunt Magby. 
Betty was the youngest of four daughters born to Hermes L. and Lucille Magby Angermiller. She lived her entire life in Hot Springs. She attended Oaklawn Elementary School and Hot Springs High School. In July she retired as head housekeeper for Lakewood Nursing Home after approximately 30 years of service.

Harvey Crawford Goodwin

Harvey Crawford Goodwin went to walk with the Lord on April 25, 2011, in Houston, Texas, where he has resided since 2007.
Born March 4, 1918, in Benton to Henry and Geraldine Goodwin who preceded him in their passing along with brothers, Delphard, Ed, Ernest and John Goodwin of Benton; and son, Ronald Crawford Goodwin of Barstow, Calif.

Hec Grant

Hec Grant, 27, of Bauxite was found Jan. 22, 2011, after missing for over four years.  
He was born July 26, 1979, in Benton to Ricky and Deborah Grant.
Survivors include daughters, Abigale Vaughan and Jade Emma Grant; wife, Autumn Romine of Benton; parents, Ricky Grant of Alco and Deborah Grant of Bauxite; sisters, Amanda Berg and Angela Price, both of Bauxite; step sister, Marlie Foster of Bauxite; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, family and many friends, who have missed him dearly.
The family will hold a wake at 2 p.m. Friday at 3825 Bauxite Cut Off Road in Bauxite.

Lois Ann Ables, 65, of Las Vegas, Nev., passed away April 17, 2011.
She was born July 16, 1945, in Benton to Jewell Ellis Buffington jr. and Maybelle Langley Buffington Reese.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Brenda may johnson; and her grandparents, John H. and Mimie Langley.
