Christine Louise Sams, 55, of Malvern, passed away, Oct. 28, at a Clarksville hospital. She was born February 14, 1956, to Willis and Thelma Schuler Sams in Malvern. She was a member of the Second Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by four brothers, Willis Sams and wife, Regina of Hot Springs, Dennis Dillavou and wife, Wilma of Locust Grove, OK, Loran Dillavou and wife, Sandra of Little Rock, and Alan Dillavou of Arkadelphia; two sisters, Mary Downs and husband, Arlis of Mabelvale, and Bethel Peters and husband, Bobby of Benton.
Daniel Lee Robinson, 44, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 25, at his home in Alexander. He was born Nov. 15, 1966, in Chester, Pa., to John Howard and Bettie Mae Robinson.
Mr. Robinson is survived by his wife of 21 years, Robin Robinson; three sons,Tye Snyder and wife Kerah of Haskell, Aaron Robinson and Craig Robinson, both of Alexander; and one daughter, Kala Preston of Alexander. Also surviving are his parents, John Howard Robinson and Bettie Mae Sanderson; and one brother, Richard Kevin Robinson and wife Rose of Pennsylvania, as well as numerous other family members and friends.
Jack William Hodshire, 86, of Benton passed away on Friday, Oct. 28. He was born March 16, 1925, in Granite City, Ill., and grew up in the Missouri Ozarks.
As a teenager he left home to work at Fort Leonard Wood in the CCC Camps building barracks. He joined the Navy and served in both World War II and the Korean War. After the war, he met and married his wife of 52 years, Doylene.
He also then went to work for Alcoa, where he retired.
Amelia Trevino Frazier, 66, of Benton passed away Wednesday, Oct. 26, at Saline Memorial Hospital. She was born June 8, 1945, in Pearsall, Texas, to Fortunado Trevino and Teodora Cortez.
Amelia retired from Unilever Bestfoods in Little Rock after 20 years of service. She also served with the U.S. Army Dental Corps during the Vietnam War era. She spent most of her time giving to others and volunteering and had an unconditional love for animals. In 2010, she was featured in the Arkansas Democrat Gazette for donating critical lifesaving equipment to the Benton Fire Department.

Wilma Jean Weare, 77, Little Rock died Tuesday Oct. 25, in Benton. She was born Jan. 23, 1934, in Saline County.
She was a retired bookkeeper for Harvest Foods and a member of Pleasant Valley Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Coy and Gladys Mann; her husband, Roy A. Weare; and two half-brothers, Coy Lynn Mann and Randy Matthew Mann.
Mrs. Weare is survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Clara Dean “CD” Wallis Alsip, 82, of Bryant passed away Oct. 23 at UAMS from complications due to pneumonia.She was born Sept. 6, 1929, to John Ike and Louise Whayne. She was born in Keystone, Okla., and moved to Vaughn in 1939. She attended Vaughn School until she married Rodney Wallis in 1946. She lived in Rogers until she married Keith Alsip in 2001 and moved to Bryant.
She waspreceded in death by her first husband, Rodney Wallis; and a son, Charles Wallis.
Melba A. Burks, 68, of Pyatt passed away Friday, Oct. 21.Â
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 28, at Fairplay Cemetery in the Fairplay Community with the Rev. George Yarberry officiating.Â

Danny Royce McMahan, 67, of St. Cloud, Fla., formerly of Benton, died Oct. 19 in hospice care in Orlando, Fla.
He was retired from the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority as a lieutenant aircraft rescue firefighter. He also was a firefighter at Kennedy Space Center and was a member of the astronaut rescue team for the Apollo 15 and 16 launches.

Tommy Aaron Buck Carpenter entered into Heaven with his grandmother, Nelma Carpenter on Thursday, Oct. 20. He was born Oct. 30, 2002 in North Little Rock, to Thomas Carpenter and Angelia Pack Carpenter.
He was a member of River of Life Assembly of God, where he was on the Junior Bible Quiz Team. He was an honor roll student at Westbrook Elementary School in Haskell and a member of the Ravens Football Team in Bryant.
Nelma Deloris Carpenter, 72, of Little Rock, entered into heaven with her grandson, Tommy Aaron Buck Carpenter, on Thursday, Oct. 20.
She was born July 10, 1939, in Dresden, Kan., to the late Charles Otis Runyon and Lillian Hazel Hale Runyon. She earned a Bachelor of Science in music ministry and education from Southern Arkansas University and was a licensed minister with the General Council of the Assemblies of God. At the time of her passing, she was co-director of Assemblies of God World Missions Prayer Task Force.
