Imogene Tittle, 65 of Benton passed away Oct. 13.Â She was born May 23, 1947 to the late Jessie Newton Jr. and Ina Pearl Fox in Amity.
Imogene was a very loving and devoted mother, grandma and sister; her family was the light of her life.Â She enjoyed spending time with her family and having "beauty days" in which she had her hair and nails done.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jimmie Tittle; three brothers, Jimmy, Jerry Lee and Gary Wayne Fox; and one sister, Linda Sue Fox.
Linda Linton Miller, 69, of Benton, surrounded and embraced by her loving family, passed away Oct. 11, 2012.Â
She was a devoted daughter, mother, wife and teacher.Â Linda was preceded in death by her father, William Linton.
Lloyd Vernon Ivey, Sr., 80, of Benton, passed away October 11.Â He was born July 19, 1932 in Slocumb, to the late Ira and Hattie Henthorne Ivey.Â Lloyd was retired from the United States Navy.
He was preceded in death by his parents, son, Freddie Greer and brother, William Guest.
He is survived by his wife, Edna Mae Ivey of Benton, sons, Eddie Greer and wife, Janice, Lloyd Ivey, Jr. and wife, Donna, daughters, Phillisa Baker and Anna Bowdle, nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Fran L. Marr, 69, of Benton, passed away Tuesday, October 9.Â She was born in Bauxite on September 11, 1943 to the late Homer Lobbs and Effie (Hicks) Lobbs.Â She was a homemaker and a member of Mars Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Bauxite.Â
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Eula May Neighbors and one brother, Junior Lobbs.
Pauline â€śPollyâ€ť Evans, 82, of Little Rock passed away Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2012, at Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock.Â She was born Aug. 23, 1930, in Tyronza to the late Jessie M. and Maud Lee Davidson Long.Â
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James L. Evans, who passed away in 1999; and one son, James D. Evans, who passed away in 2005.
Patsy Marie Eady, 75, of Benton passed away on Monday, Oct. 8. She was born in Knox City, Texas, on Dec. 16, 1936.
She was a lifelong member of the Church of Christ and was retired from St Vincent Infirmary, where she spent several years as catering coordinator.
Patsy loved to volunteer and was a lifetime member of Beta Sigma Phi. Patsy will always be remembered for her fun spirit and as a wonderful mother, sister, grandmother and friend. She was preceded in death by her parents, Gene and Mildred Smith of Abilene, Texas.
John Burr, 67, passed away on Oct. 10, in Benton. John was born on Sept. 22, 1945, in Pine Bluff.
John was a member of First Baptist Church in Little Rock. He was employed as a welder.
He was preceded in death by his father, Travis Burr; brother, Danny Burr; and sister, Ana Calkins.
John is survived by his mother, Modell Burr of Benton; two sons, Jeff Burr of Benton and Shawn Burr of Little Rock; one daughter, Katy Burr Lewis of Benton; one close cousin, Ronnie Womack of Pine Bluff; and many friends and other family members who will miss him greatly.
Louise White Councille, formerly of Warren, died peacefully Tuesday, Oct.
Irvin Clayton Hass, 89, of Benton died Monday, Oct. 8, in Benton.
He was born March 16, 1923, in Story to the late Alvin and Mattie Leora Smith Pentey.
He is survived by his sons, Clinton Hass and Clayton Hass, both of California; a daughter, Vicki Lynn Applegate of Benton; a sister, Alma Mabry of Malvern; eight grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 12, at Ashby Funeral Home with the Rev. Carl Wright officiating.Â Burial will follow at Reed Cemetery in Story.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 11, at the funeral home.
Helen Marie Moore, 83, of Benton died Monday, Oct. 8, in Benton. She was born July 13, 1929, in Little Rock. Helen was a retired factory worker and a Baptist.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James Arthur and Ruby McClain Martin; her husband, Ervin Moore; a son, Joe Banister; a brother; and four sisters.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, William A. and Nancy Banister of Benton; three grandchildren, Billy Ammons, Jennifer Coleman and Rachel Banister; and three great-grandchildren.
