Raymond (Bud) Ward Westbrook Jr.

Raymond (Bud) Ward Westbrook Jr., 62, of Tull passed away Tuesday, Nov. 27.  He was born Sept. 17, 1950, in Little Rock to the late Raymond Ward Westbrook Sr. and Dorothy Jean Brashears Westbrook.
Mr. Westbrook worked for International Paper for 29 years and was a member of Saline Missionary Baptist Church.  He started the Tull Fire Department where he served as chief for 17 years.

Dianne Gale Kauffman

Dianne Gale Kauffman, 65, of Prattville, Ala., formerly of Benton, passed away on Nov. 28.  She was born Oct. 12, 1947, in Vicksburg, Miss., to the late Nick and Erma Louise Velchoff.
Dianne was a retired school teacher from the Autauga County School System in Prattville and a devoted member of the First United Methodist Church of Prattville.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Mike Velchoff.

Ronnie G. Whitley

Ronnie G. Whitley, 62, of Mt. Juliet, TN, died Tuesday, November 27. He was the son of the late, Larence H. and Goldie DeLong Whitley. Mr. Whitley was a member of Cornerstone Church and had served in the Tennessee National Guard.
He was also preceded in death by his sisters, Sherry N. Whitley and Carol Whitley Young.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Wanda Kay Gatlin Whitley, son, Gary Whitley and wife, Linda and daughter, Carla Grebert and husband, Michael. Brother-in-law, Philip Gatlin and wife, Becky and several nieces and nephews.

Anna Belle (Jobe) Orrell

Anna Belle (Jobe) Orrell, 79, of Benton, passed away Tuesday, November 27, at Cabot Nursing & Rehab Center. She was born February 11, 1933 in North Little Rock to the late Harold W. and Mamie Mae (Hackler) Jobe. Mrs. Orrell was of the Baptist faith and retired from Teletype.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Hurshul L. Orrell.
She is survived by two sisters, Faye Rozier and Amye Hicks and husband Harold; one brother, Ronald Jobe, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Darrell Lewis Walden

Retired U.S. Army Master Sgt. Darrell  Lewis Walden died at his home in Benton, on Nov. 27.  He was born May 10, 1940. in Bauxite to the late Ed and Nedgie Croxton Walden.
Darrell retired to Benton following a career in explosive ordnance disposal in the U.S. Army, during which he traveled the world with various government officials as part of their guard detachments.  He served in this capacity during the Gerald Ford and Jimmy Carter debate in San Francisco.

Keith Beck

Keith Beck, 63, of Benton died November 27.  He was born Nov. 30, 1948 in Little Rock to the late Herbie Fred Beck and Mardell Nash Beck.
Keith worked for Reynolds Metals for 13 years before joining the Benton Police Department as a sergeant, where he retired.  He was a past president of the Police Union, Fraternal Order of Police President, and a member of Holland Chapel Missionary Baptist Church.

Bobby Wilson

Bobby Wilson, 57, of Mabelvale, passed away Nov. 22. He loved to hunt, fish, being outdoors, coaching Little League sports, and loved his family and spending time with his grandchildren. He will be missed by all who knew him.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Wilson; and his brother, Rick Wilson.
He is survived by his wife, Deborah Wilson; two daughters, Jessica Faust and husband Cole and Corrie Jackson and husband Tommy; one sister, Charlotte Jones and husband Chuck; one brother, Burney Summers; and two grandchildren. Christopher Wilson and Emma Jackson.

JoAnn Warford Corley

JoAnn Warford Corley, 79, a lifelong resident of Glen Rose. passed away Tuesday, Nov. 27, at Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock.
She was born June 23, 1933, the daughter of Jesse and Alice Jenkins Warford.  JoAnn worked in the cafeteria at Glen Rose Schools for 35 years and also did volunteer work for the Salvation Army. She was a member of the Malvern and Saline Moose Lodges, Veterans of Foreign Wars, and Glen Rose Missionary Baptist Church.  JoAnn enjoyed cooking and dancing and loved her family very much. 

Carla Jay Manning

Carla Jay Manning, 20, of Benton passed away on Saturday, Nov. 24. She recently graduated from Remington College as a medical assistant and X-ray technician. She was a member of Glad Tidings Landmark Missionary Baptist Church in Pangburn.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Carl Manning.

Robert Lee Jones Jr.

Robert Lee Jones Jr., 83, of Alexander passed away Sunday, Nov. 25.  He was born Dec. 15, 1928 in Little Rock.
Mr. Jones served in the U.S. Navy and was a Master Plumber, having owned and operated Jones Plumbing in Mabelvale for 30 years. He was a 33rd-degree Mason, past president and vice president of the Arkansas Plumbers Association, co-founder of C.A.J. Apprentice Committee and a member of the Lions Club.
