Veral L. Hines, 76, of Benton, passed away Monday, April 16, in Bryant.Â He was born August 4, 1935 in Thayer, Kansas.Â He worked for the Santa Fe Railroad for over forty years as a railroad clerk.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth Hines of Benton, three sons; Wade Hines and wife Kendra, Tracy Hines, Rueben Dilks, four daughters; Dianne Liptak and husband, Greg, Deborah Gelnett and husband, Jay, Sharon Pearcy and husband, Randy, Brenda Stone and husband, James, three brothers, and one sister, eleven grandchildren, twenty five great grandchildren.
James Edward Ward, 78, of Benton passed away on April 19, with his family by his side. He was born on January 19, 1934 to the late, Hollis Edward and Jessie Lee Ward in Calhoun City, Mississippi. James retired from the Bryant School District after 28 years of employment. He enjoyed working in his yard, gardening and going fishing. He was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church. James most treasured times were spent with his family and he loved spoiling his grandbabies.
He is preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Raymond and Joe Lee Ward.
Dale Eric Boston, 45, of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away April 14. Born in Wichita, Kansas, on May 5 1966. He was the son of Bill N. and Coyla Brooke Boston.
He is survived by his parents, a brother, Greg Boston and wife, Sandy; sister, Jolene Gilmore and husband, Brian; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, April 21 at Little Rock Funeral Home, 8801 Knoedl Ct. (NW corner I-630 and Barrow Rd.), officiated by Rev. Tina Brown and Rev. Earl Andersen.

Kenneth D. McClenahan, 73, of Bauxite, passed away Thursday, April 19.Â He was born June 8, 1939 in New DeRoch.Â Mr. McClenahan worked in construction and was a member of Social Hill Missionary Baptist Church.Â
He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Myrea McClenahan and a brother, Neal McClenahan.
Mildred Marnell Cooper, 84, of Benton, died Friday, April 13, in Bryant. Mildred was an active member of Mt Zion Baptist Church in Benton where she served in many organizations. She was a retired employee of the State of Arkansas Alexander Youth Services where she was a Dorm Mother for over 30 years.
William Dorcie Chastain, 84, of Benton passed away Wednesday, April 18, 2012.Â He was born July 25, 1927 in Stamps to the late William Jasper and Polly Leona Chastain. Mr. Chastain was a member of First Baptist Church in Benton where he was a member of the sanctuary choir for fifteen years.Â He also served as a former choir director of Galilee Baptist Church in El Dorado, for a number of years.Â Mr. Chastain was a retired electrician from Monsanto Chemical in El Dorado and Alcoa in Benton, totaling forty years of service.
Freddy Ray Martin, 38, passed away on April 16, at his home in Benton. Freddy Ray was born May 20, 1973 to Fred Ray Martin and Charlotte Ann (Summerville) Martin. Freddy Ray loved to play his guitar, singing, hanging out with friends and having a good time. He was big-hearted and kind. He enjoyed spending time with his family and telling stories of his favorite childhood memories like "Hangin' Harry" and driving back roads. Freddy Ray attended Kingdom Hall.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Christopher Martin and one sister; Kelly Martin.
Shirley Chadwell Emberton,67, of Sheridan died Tuesday, April 17.
She is survived by her husband, Jerry Emberton of Sheridan; son, David Phillips of Sheridan; daughter, Karen Banks and husband Scott of Austin; Daughter-in-law, Sheila Phillips of Sheridan; step-son, Tony Emberton of Chesapeake, Virginia; step-daughter, Stacy Fausett of Branson, Missouri; Mother-in-law, Thelma Emberton of Sheridan and eleven grandchildren,
A Memorial Service will be held 10 a.m., Friday, April 20, at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. Visitation will be after the service at the funeral home.
Lelia Dianne Boyd Treasitti Helm, 63, of Conway lost her battle with cancer and went to be withÂ the Lord on April 16. Dianne was born in Aberdeen Mississippi July 9, 1948, to the late Talmadge Boyd and Bobbie Boyd. Dianne retired from Target after 23 years of dedicated service. Dianne enjoyed being with her husband, Tony, her children and grandchildren who were the joy of her life. DianneÂ really lovedÂ watching her children and grandchildren play softball andÂ baseballÂ for many years.
Dianne is preceded in death by her father Talmedge Boyd.
Alyce Marion Hewett Mork of Little Rock, passed away April 14. She was born on June 29, 1926 in Lewisville, to the late Francis and Alyce Hewett. Marion was a member of St. Andrewâ€™s Methodist Church and after becoming disabled, looked forward to watching Joel Osteen and other television evangelists. Marion, along with her parents, owned and operated Alyce-Francis Cleaners for over 60 years. She was a faithful member of the Billy Graham Association. She had a great love for animals and her dog, Mindy, was by her side until the end.
