Gary Snodderly, 56, of Benton went home to be with the Lord on April 4. He was born June 4, 1955, to Raymond and Jean Snodderly in Rockford, Ill.
Mr. Snodderly loved reading the word of God and sharing his time with God in the outdoors.
He is survived by his father, Raymond Snodderly and his mother, Jean Smith; a sister, Linda Bunting and husband Mike; his best friend, Wendy Martin; a nephew, Johnny Jones; two great-nieces, Jacey and Avery Jones; and a great-nephew, Max Jones.
Nancy Karen Parker of Benton passed away Friday, April 6. She was born Jan. 6, 1946, in Danville, to the late Ellis Roberson and Estella Wehunt Roberson.Â
Mrs. Parker was a former employee of Smith Fiberglass. She and her husband, Richard E. Parker of Benton,would have celebrated their 50TH wedding anniversary on May 17, 2012. Â

Ula Jean (Turner) Griffin, 73, of the Shaw Community, passed away Wednesday, April 4, at Arkansas Heart Hospital in Little Rock. She was born April 20, 1938 in England to the late T.J. and Verda Ann Turner. She was a homemaker and loved to hunt and raise chickens. She was of Missionary Baptist faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Walter Wayne Griffin; two grandsons, Chris Lewis and Walter Ammons; two sisters, Irma Gregg and Vetola Stergeon, and four brothers.Â
Randy Michael Wootten, 46, of Batesville entered heaven after a courageous battle with lung cancer, quietly with family at his home, on Monday, April 2. He was born August 29, 1966 in Torrance, Calif. to Jerry and Wanda Wooten.
He is proceeded in death by his father, Jerry C. Wootten on Benton.
Morgan L. Hodkin, 91, of Benton went home to be with the Lord on April 4. He was born Oct. 13, 1920 to the late Bill and Grace Hodkin of Carthage, Mo. Mr. Hodkin was a deacon for more than 60 years a member of Holland Chapel Church. Morgan was the mechanical engineer director of the physical plant at UAMS for 26 years.
After he retired from UAMS in 1975, he was the field director with Carter, Chilcoat Icobaum Rouse and Walker.Â
Mary McRee Mitchell, 67, of Alexander, passed away Monday, April 2. She was born May 9, 1944 in Little Rock. Mrs. Mitchell was a retired L.P.N. and a strong advocate for helping local nursing homes. She was a passionate Arkansas Razorback fan.Â
Mrs. Mitchell was preceded in death by her parents, Hubert and Helene Blakley and her husband, Phillip Charles Mitchell.
April 3rd
Maurine Hankins McGugan, 95, of Benton died Sunday, April 1. She was born April 13, 1916 to Arthur and Carrie Hankins in Pine Bluff.Â
Maurine graduated from Ouachita Baptist College and taught second grade for several years. She lived 50years in Benton and the last 11 years at Fox Ridge of Bryant.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Ernest McGugan in May of 1995.Â

Betty Lou Van Horn Barnett, 83, of Ten Mile Community died Saturday, March 31. She was born Aug. 31, 1928, to Gladys Mills Van Horn and Ross Van Horn in Edinburg, Texas. Betty moved to Lonsdale at an early age. She married Vester Barnett on Dec. 7, 1947. She was a charter member of TOPS Arkansas No. 296 in Benton and a member of Lonsdale Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 52 years; brothers, Robert and Richard Van Horn; and two daughters, Sharon Clark and Carla Miller.
Jacob David Jordan, 23, of Bryant passed away March 30. He was born Oct. 4, 1988, to Todd and Dana Jordan in Little Rock.
On Friday evening, March 30, 2012, Flora May Linz, 83, of Bryant passed from this earth surrounded by family and friends.
She was born Sept. 2, 1928, in Bauxite to the late Nick and Alice Rodgers Patrick.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Central Church of Christ in Bryant.
Flora enjoyed the nature of her yard, writing poetry, working crossword puzzles and spending time with her family.
