Mark A. Bragg, 45, of Mabelvale passed away Saturday, Sept. 8.  He was born Jan. 4, 1967, in Little Rock. 
Mark was a manager of four different Phillip 66 locations. 
He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Richard Bragg; and grandparents, Beatrice Padgett and Louie and Hazel Bragg.

Billy “Sonny” Draper

Billy “Sonny” Draper, 71, of Bauxite, passed away Sunday, September 9. He was born January 19, 1941 in Lono to the late W. W. (Bill) and Evelyn (Shelby) Draper of Bauxite. He worked for Dassault Falcon Jet in Little Rock for almost 25 years, having completed a long career in the aircraft industry that spanned 40 years starting in the Air Force as a Vietnam Veteran through various supplemental airlines that took the family to Abilene Texas, Ardmore Okla, Harrisburg PA, Fairborn OH and Memphis TN before moving back to Bauxite to be near family and friends.

Gloria June (Cox) Walthall

Gloria June (Cox) Walthall, 69, of Alexander, passed away peacefully Friday, September 7, 2012 at her home. 
She was born in Texarkana on February 23, 1943 to the late Charles Cox and Ruth (Chapman) Cox. Mrs. Walthall was a homemaker, loved to sew, and read recipe books. She was of Baptist faith. 
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by, one son, Jerry Walthall, and her brother, Mickey Cox.

Mary Anna Steele

Mary Anna Steele,89, of Bryant passed away Friday, September 7, 2012. Mary Ann was born October 23, 1922 in Sheridan to the late Daniel and Minnie (Reynolds) Atchley. Mary Anna was a member of First Baptist Church in Bryant.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Carroll Leon Steele, two brothers; James Carthal “Bill” Atchley, and Audrey “Jack” Otis Atchley.

Eara Ellen Wilson

Eara Ellen Wilson, 89, of Benton, passed away Thursday, September 6.  She was born December 20, 1922 in Benton.  Mrs. Wilson worked for Jones and Owasso furniture factories. 
She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Lillian Wilson; husband, Warren K. Wilson; daughter, Judy Webb; twin sister, Vera Ann; three brothers; two sisters and five great-grandchildren.

Herrell Edward McDaniel

September 7, 2012

Herrell Edward McDaniel, 91, of Richmond, Va., died Sept. 5.
He was born Aug. 27, 1921, in Benton.
Mr. McDaniel was a navigator in the U.S. Air Force during World War II and spent almost his entire career working at Reynolds Metals, retiring as the director of administrative control. After retirement, he loved to camp, fish and spend time with his family.
He preceded in death by his wife of 66 years, Elsie Strayhorn McDaniel. 
He is survived by his son, Ronald McDaniel; his daughter, Janice McDaniel; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. 

Edward 'Ted' Billing

Edward “Ted” Billing, 94, of Alexander, passed away Sept. 4.
He was born Oct. 13, 1917, in Collegeville to the late Fred and Lena Lockert Billing.

Lawana Sue Grace

Lawana Sue Grace, 62, of Lonsdale passed away Sunday, Aug. 26, at Stoneybrook Health & Rebhab.
She was born Aug. 12, 1950, in Searcy to the late James E. and Florence J. Kilman Dunham.
Mrs. Grace had previously worked in nursing homes. 

Donald Barnes

Donald Barnes, 76, of Benton passed away on Sept. 3, with his loving family by his side.  He was born March 19, 1936, to the late Reece and Mabel Barnes in Keo.  Donald retired from Alcoa after 30 years.
He enjoyed spending time with his family, working on airplanes and cars. Donald was a very devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a grandson, Shane Mathis; a sister, Ann Cline; and his brother, Gerald Barnes.

Judy D. Caudle

Judy D. Caudle, 71, of Benton passed away on Sept. 3.  She loved spending time with her family and crocheting.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Verna Freeman; a daughter, Deborah Curry; and one brother, Charles Freeman Jr.
Judy is survived by her son, George Curry, and wife Teresa; a daughter, Sheila Curry; six grandchildren; five brothers; five sisters and many family members and friends who loved her and will miss her dearly.
