Robert Vincent Tucker

Robert Vincent Tucker, 78, of Benton passed away Monday, Dec. 10.  He was born Dec. 30, 1934, in Benton to the late Enoch and Hollond Sulton Tucker.  Robert was retired from AT & T.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Jeolyn Tucker; a sister, Dorthea Wright; four brothers, Ralph, Conrad, Jack and Norman Tucker; and a son, Ronnie Otts.
He is survived by two sons, Billy Otts of Malvern and Kenneth Otts of Abbott; two brothers, James Tucker and Merle Tucker, both of California; five grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Johnie Allen James

Johnie Allen James, 85, of Lonsdale, born May 14, 1927 in Davis, Okla. to parents George and Elsie James, passed away on Thursday, Dec. 6. He was a member of Owensville Baptist Church. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Brenda James Fitzhugh, and his brothers, Thomas, Bert, Roy and Milton James.

Paul E. Jones

Paul E. Jones, 76, of Benton went to be with the Lord Wednesday, Dec. 5. 
He was born Aug. 18, 1936, in Ridge Top, Tenn., to the late John L. and Estelle Jones. Growing up in middle Tennessee, the family, including the children, grew and processed tobacco for the market.

Teresa Ann Garrett

Teresa Ann Garrett, 64, of Benton passed away Wednesday, Dec. 5, at Hospice Home Care in Little Rock after a long battle with cancer.
She was born May 26, 1948, in Benton. Teresa had been employed as an LPN for many years at Saline Memorial Hospital in Benton.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Dean Garrett of Benton; her mother and stepfather, Ann and Wayne Talbert; and her father, James White.

Gary Bemberg, 58, of Benton passed away Monday, Dec. 3. He was co-owner and vice-president in charge of plant operations at Bemberg Iron Works in Little Rock.
He was preceded in death by his father, Gordon Bemberg; and his son, Brad.,

Reba Darnell Kelley, 81, of Alexander passed away on Dec. 4, at her home. She was born Feb. 12, 1931, in Parker County, Texas.
Reba was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Lee Elders and Eva DeBusk Elders.

Carolyn Dianne Dandurand

Carolyn Dianne Dandurand, 61, of Benton passed away Sunday, Dec. 2. 
She was born Dec. 8, 1950, in Dumas to the late A.Z. and Clara Dovers.  Mrs. Dandurand was a member of First Missionary Baptist Church of Traskwood.
She is survived by her husband, Richard Dandurand of Benton; a son, Jonathan Dandurand of Kansas City, Mo.; two brothers, Dennis Dovers of Rosebud and Bryan Dovers of Benton; and a sister, Martha Highsmith of Haskell.

Sue Nooner Brooks

Sue Nooner Brooks passed away Friday, Nov. 30. She was born Sept. 5, 1932, to Ruby and Elihue Nooner in Benton. She was a former member of Second Baptist Church and a present member of Hot Springs Baptist Church. She was a member of the Melting Pot Genealogical Society and a graduate of Hot Springs High School, graduating with the Class of 1950.
She was predeceased by her parents; her brother, R.C. Nooner; her aunt, Jewel Meredith Muse; and her daughter, Crystal Suzonne Brooks.

Jack T. Ferguson, 85, of Bryant went to be with his Lord on Dec. 1.  Jack was born Oct. 29, 1927, in Casa.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Willie Ferguson; four brothers; and four sisters.
He is survived by his wife, Clair Bernice Ferguson; a daughter, Tracye Bullock and husband Randy; and a son, Billy Craig Ferguson and wife Telecia; grandchildren, Lindlee Bullock, Corbi McAllister and husband Jay, Ryan Ferguson, Landon Bullock and husband Stacie, Grabrielle Ferguson and Brennan Bullock; and four great-grandchildren.

Mary Nell Gilzow

Mary Nell Gilzow, 82, of Benton, passed away on Sunday, Dec. 2.  She was born April 8, 1930, to Elmer Kunzman and Elzie Lamb.  She was a loving mother and grandmother, who will be missed by many.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Wesley Gilzow.
She is survived by one sister, Martieana Wolfe; her children, Phyllis Jeffcoat, Barbara Mitchell, Patricia DeCook and Martin Odell Gilzow; 11 grandchildren, Richard, Laura Sondra, Shawn, Amy, Paul, Amanda, Susan, Teresa, Sarah and Kelley; and 17 great-grandchildren.
