Theresa Louise Teague, 51,of Benton, passed away on September 12.Â Theresa was born on December 25, 1960 in St. Louis, MO.Â Theresa worked as a LPN and had graduated in the top ten of her nursing class.Â She was an avid reader, loved watching movies, and working crossword and word puzzles.Â Theresa was a Saint Louis Rams football fan and enjoyed watching Nascar.Â She was Pentecostal by faith.Â Theresa loved spending time with her children, grandchild, and family. She always put her family first and was eagerly expecting her first grandson in October.
Ima Dee Curtis Yates, 89, of Benton died Wednesday, Sept. 12.
She was born July 8, 1923, in Swink, Okla.
Ima was a retired LPTN and a member of Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Minnie Hathcock Curtis; her husband, Dan Gilbert Yates; nine brothers and two sisters.
Mary Louise Hamlin, 86, of Malvern died Tuesday, Sept. 11, at her home.Â She was born in Hatfield on Oct. 23, 1925, to the late James T. Davis and Rosa Henson Davis.
Moving with her family to Malvern at an early age, she received her education locally and was active in school sports, playing softball and basketball.Â She also loved to water ski. A working mother, Mary was employed by the local textile mill, the shoe plant, and by Chamberlain Door, from which she retired in 1991.Â She was a member of Third Baptist Church, where she sang in the choir and worked with the youth.
