Ramona Lois Davenport, 60, of Conway passed away Jan. 29.Â She was born Aug. 31, 1952, in Conway to the late Emmett and Florence Avis Mobley Moore. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church of Benton.
Ramona was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Linda Kay Moore.
Jerry W. Johnson, 78, of Benton passed away Monday, Jan. 28.Â He was born Nov. 3, 1934, in Cherry Valley to the late Ralph and Annie Elizabeth Barkley Johnson.
Jerryâ€™s favorite pastimes were fishing, being with his family and the love of his life; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Brenda Blackburn; and grandchildren, Matt Johnson and Robbie Blackburn.
Loys V. Halbert Jr., 81, of Benton went to be with the Lord on Monday, Jan. 28.
Loys was a barber for many years, and he always had a laugh and a joke for his customers, but at heart Loys was an artist. He looked at the world around him and found art everywhere, whether it was in a fresh snowfall or a crappie chasing a lure.
Ronni L. (Gonzales) Williams, 42, formerly of Sherwood, passed away unexpectedly on Jan. 23 in the arms of Jesus, healed of all her pain. She worked for USA Drug and Prudential Insurance Co.
She was predeceased by her father, Ronald Gonzales; and a sister, Leia Renee Valencia.
Gaylene McRaven, 65, passed away Jan. 25. Gaylene was born May 12, 1947, in Fort Smith.
Gaylene was retired from Thomas Real Estate and Insurance Co.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Merle McRaven; and her father. Charles Bailey.
Leo Alden Stone, 77, of Haskell died Sunday, Jan. 27. He was born Sept. 14, 1935 in Olton, Texas. Leo was a retired computer programmer for John Deere.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alvis and Leona Stone, and his wife, Sandra Stone.
He is survived by his sons, Roland Stone and wife Terri of Haskell and Danny Stone of Tennessee; brothers Smokey Stone of Oklahoma and Bobby Stone of Utah; and sisters Wanda Stone of Texas, Ruth Pope of Missouri, and Audrey Vaughn of Texas.
Local arrangements are by Ashby Funeral Home.
A memorial service will be held later in Oklahoma.
Ladd Owens, 88, of Bauxite died Sunday, Jan. 27. He was born Sept. 4, 1924 in Plainview. Ladd was retired after 20 years at Alcoa as an oiler.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Louella Ladd Owens; son Gary Owens; two brothers; and three sisters.
Madora Earle Hollinger of Prattsville died Sunday, Jan. 27, at Saline Memorial Hospice in Benton at the age of 90. Mrs. Hollinger was born April 13, 1922 in Prattsville, the daughter of the late George Wyatt and Audrey Augusta Lindsey Earle. She was a faithful member of Sweet Home Missionary Baptist Church and worked many years at Rockwell and the Whippet. She enjoyed quilting, working in her yard, cooking â€” especially her fried pies, and spending time with her family.
